Concerns over Prince Charles's "sausage fingers".

After Mother's Day lunch, mom and me were sitting at the pub and she decided to check the headlines on her phone.
Unfortunately we couldn't log into the wi-fi because the place was busy, and only so many devices can log in at once.
So we saw the headline: "Concern over Prince Charles's Swollen Sausage ... ", and we couldn't read the rest.

Being deeply concerned about the troubled royal as a member of the Commonwealth (I mean considering the youngest brat and his "fishwife"), I immediately had to Google this when I got home.
I first thought he has swollen lips, or another possibility I shall not mention in polite company (a Viagra overdose, for example).

But as it turns out, the apparent future British monarch has swollen fingers, which he himself called his "sausage fingers" during a visit to Australia in 2012.

Prince Charles' hands have become a growing point of interest for royal fans over the past year, it seems, with 'Prince Charles fingers' and 'Prince Charles sausage fingers' now among the most Googled search terms for the royal.

The Prince of Wales' so-called 'sausage fingers' have made it to fourth place in the list of Brits' most searched internet queries about the Prince in the past 12 months after various images of the future King's puffy pointers sparked concern among his supporters.

Does the Prince have a medical condition, or is this just media hype?
I always thought my "bratwurst" fingers hampered by guitar playing, so I can relate.
Is this harmless, genetic, or signs of something more alarming?

It's another way to get his name into circulation. I've said before they are getting the country ready for him to become king and his divorcee wife to become queen. His youngest brat and his fish wife???? Seriously??? Take a very close look at what Charles has done, an affair with a married woman (camilla) when he was single, affair with her when he was married, affairs with others (Oh Kinga come back to me) etc. etc. Harry and his wife has done What he needed to do.

Apologies, not sure why some links do that.
I added another one:

Sure Charles was far from perfect, and was often slagged for it when it was topical.
However, sitting with Oprah and telling a whole bunch of whoppers (very reminiscent of a narcissistic smear campaign) isn't exactly classy either.
Others can go into detail here, I mean there's literally thousands of YouTube clips on this.
I've said before I'm "team Kate", and that's how I shall remain.
It's all PR for the firm anyway, either way, and a bit of entertainment.
Although my terminology here may be opinionated, neither "brat" or "fishwife" are indecent expressions.

None of them look particularly happy these days, especially Harry (yeah, surprise), but I'm wondering more whether there's actually something medically wrong with Prince Charles's fingers?

The link still works, it seems the site did a 404 if you try to share their stuff without a commission.
However, you still find it with keywords on Google.
But it seems the days of free linking are getting curtailed as sites are increasingly demanding you subscribe to them, or you get a big gray screen over the text.
Magazines may also reserve the latest editions for paying subscribers.
And if I subscribe to everything (easily 5-10 links on a single ATS session), I'm literally going to be flooded with spam in my mailbox the next day.
Something I'll raise soon in the Board Issues forum, although it's not really an ATS issue.
It's just a wider trend that's happening.

This is looking a great deal like Edema, a common indicator of congestive heart disease. Just a guess, but I' take a gander at his ankles and abdomen...for supporting signs. Theyre easier to hide.

His nose is quite red in that photo as well, plenty of indicators that I would look at his heart.

More likely it's arthritis. He's over 70 years old. And there's no need to "get his name into circulation" at all, much less like this.

I've said before they are getting the country ready for him to become king and his divorcee wife to become queen.

What's to "get ready"? Who hasn't known that day would come forever?

The Duke and Duchess of Difficult have done far more than what he -- or even they -- "needed" to do. They are both grown adults responsible for their own choices and actions, no matter what others have done or not done. If they had half as much good sense as ego, they'd be cringing at themselves.

He is probably allergic to something in the soap he uses or maybe something in the hand sanitizer he uses. My stepfather used to get a red face and his nose puffed up when he drank and others just get red cheeks that are a little swollen when they drink. If he is using an alcohol sanitizer and lacks enough alcohol dehydrogenase for some genetic reason, he could get red hands that are a little swollen. I do not know if that is what is going on, but it is a possibility. Getting the red flush from alcohol is not really uncommon, more women get that than guys for some reason. Being it seems to be limited to his hands from the pictures, it makes me think it is an allergy or metabolic intolerance to something he is washing them with.

I would think that he should have medical professionals overlooking this. Damn, the guy is a prince. It may be that he has been put on a medicine that messes with his bodies ability to stop this too, maybe a blood thinner or something containing fluoride like furosemide or something. Who knows, that is not normal, but I doubt if the doctors think it is dangerous since he probably has one of the best medical doctors in the country caring for him.

Edit, he does seem to have a red nose too....maybe it is something to do with alcohol intolerance. I was focusing on his hands when I first looked at the picture.

I imagine his heart resembles that one raisin that somehow escaped the packet and ends up stuck to the sole of your slipper with a few crumbs and some carpet fluff embedded in it.

I'm quite indifferent to the royals but that chap rubs me up the wrong way.

Six causes of dactylitis (sausage fingers)...

1. Sickle cell disease
2. Tuberculosis
3. Sarcoidosis
4. Syphilis
5. Spondyloarthritis
6. Infection

Oh the trials and tribulations of the Royals.

You and I must be equally bored today.

Just thinking, now that Harry is seemingly unleashing his inner Christina Crawford with hopefully weekly installments of Daddy Dearest, one wonders what the details of his shocking abuse might be?

I bet when he came home in the Nazi uniform it was a good caning, and when he first said he was going to drag that "guttersnipe" into the family I can imagine it was a clip around the ears with the reptilian sausage fingers, and off to bed without any supper!

Sigh, I suppose sometimes parents try, but eventually you've got to let them fly.
