The library is closed.

But I'd like to get the book: "The Last Indians: South America's cultural heritage" (by Fritz Trupp, 1983).

www.amazon.com...

Oh you mean when you were ten, and you got busted tying your dick up?

Oh the horror - we're never taking him to the library again.

Yeah, that one.

The Last Indians: South America's Cultural Heritage by Fritz Trupp Perlinger Verlag, 1981, [First Edition], full colour and b/w photographs throughout, illustrated end-papers, large hardcover, dustjacket, ISBN 3853990231 Near Fine Condition, minor edge and shelf wear 'This book is dedicated to the last of the South American Indians who still live largely as their fathers did before them. It presents an insight into a life-style and culture characterised above all by the harmonious interplay of man and nature. It describes the various magico-religious rituals, dances, myths and taboos that maintain this unity of man and his environment, his ancestors and the future, and give the community the strength that unites it. This book comprises a unique collection of material that is the result of ten years of highly motivated research, often under the most difficult conditions. Many of the photographs, such as those of the healing rites of the Choco Indians, have not been published before. For the ordinary traveller, most of the Indian groups described in this book are totally inaccessible, and the author was only able to win their trust by living and working with them over a long period of time.'

As I experienced in the sweat lodge - brothers.
If you're not cut, you should tie it with a ribbon.
Why?

Not sure, but jackal said so.

It's very rarely that just a 2 minute clip makes me want to watch a movie, but that one did it.

Evidence beginning to emerge, the Amazon may have once supported a civilization of 20 million people.

Referring to the traditional "sweat lodge"
A cleansing ceremony.

But it all got a bad name when some fake gurus, stuck loads of people under a plastic tarpaulin.
And yeah, some people died.

But when the real shamen visit that site: flip, how could you be so stupid?

Well you could always study Social Anthropology.

Become a Professor, and get a grant.

Pay some plebs to row you into the Amazon.

Or alternatively, become a missionary.
I'm coming my sweetheart!
