Point taken: take drugs only from known, trusted sources.

(Jesting aside, I was referring to our ATS brother.)

This gem here

I believe INOWARS and Fox above all other mainstream media. INFOWARS is almost always the first to get a story out. The other little Blogs I don't know about.
Is from another recent thread, at first I thought the member was being facetious then I realised it was a serious comment.

Do you believe we manifest our thoughts?

I think if we trust our intentions we must trust ourselves. I truth is left up to a committee, then.. well.. you know.

Haven't been to that shop since the mid 80's. I do remember many different forms from sugar cubes to window pane

It is something i have noticed since a kid , wish for something and it will happen not instantly but give it time and the desired outcome of the wish seems to happen for me example i want something and i think about it enough and ,weeks months later one will fall into my lap but i have noticed if someone wrongs me i can get that effect but it is not something i dwell on as i think Karma will exact a price on me for it

Sow to the wind a grain of wheat, reaping from that seed is a plant. Sow good reap a harvest of good sow negative vindictive actions and you will reap of the whirlwind of bad.

Can't trust the media.

Years ago my wife bought me a birthday card with a rooster on the front wearing a harness that was made of peacock feathers. the caption on the inside said I got it on ebay. Been there and I try not to visit to often otherwise it feeds the old addictions.

I wonder if being taught repeatedly as a kid that nobody is to be trusted has a negative effect proportionate to the frequency/intensity of the teaching.

No but you could rely on the word of mouth, and from the chemist who spun the batch.

I take this approach.

1. I cannot be sure that anyone is lying

2. I cannot really be sure anyone is telling the truth

3. Any "system" I might try to come up with in order to ascertain who is lying and who isn't is going to be limited by the information I have available to me.

4. All of the information I have comes from the media

5. The slant of the information the media puts out varies from one outlet to another but they all pretty much agree on the basics.

6. If ANY of them are lying about the basics, they're ALL lying about the basics. Well, either knowingly or unknowingly by parroting what they've heard.

7. I'm nobody. I'm just a dude. What I believe doesn't matter. Whatever is gonna be is gonna be no matter what I think of it. Skepticism is really just a hobby for me to pass the time and give me the illusion that I have more say in things than I actually do.
