The dream of the century is on the brink of reality with the EU ISIS/refugee migration crisis.

Looks like the big bank movers are zeroing in on the EU middle class workers.

The big gun IMF is suggesting a program to have migrant workers make less than established minimum wages.

Their dream of a democratic socialist collective dictatorship is coming.

I'm confident they have a sound and reasonable academic justification in mind that will ultimately bring good health and prosperity to the affected nations.

This story is coming the "Common Dreams" website. I don't know their "credibility" ratings.

I smell Soros !!! He is nearby watching and calculating feverishly.

IMF's Prescription for Europe: Exploit Refugees with Low Wages

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) on Wednesday released a report urging the European countries accepting a majority of refugees to "temporarily" pay them less than minimum wage.

In its report, the IMF recommended implementing a short-term differentiation between asylum seekers and EU citizens, by way of "temporary and limited derogations of the minimum wage for refugees."

That would entail giving wage subsidies to companies to employ individuals migrating to Europe to escape war, poverty, and state violence from the Middle East and North Africa, or adopting "temporary exceptions to minimum or entry level wages" for those already hired.

Welcome to America Europe!

Now you have to compete with government subsidized labor!

You'll never get an entry level job again!

It makes no sense, low wages will keep this people dependent on government assistance at the expenses of the rest of the working class for survival, socialism alright.

That is what goes on in the US, the generation of welfare recipients and the working poor still on welfare assistance, the ones losing is the working class that makes enough to cover up for the working poor.

You mention socialism, but that's not really what this is. This is created by crony capitalists. It's a mockery of socialism. This is big business robbing the lower and middle class by using the government which is paid for by taxes of the middle class and lower class while they offshore to avoid taxes themselves. This way we are forced to pay to keep each other alive while they reap all the benefits. It's all about profits for big business. It's making us both accept less wages, and then all chip in to pay to keep those of us stuck at the bottom afloat so they don't have to.

Like in the U.S. the democrats and republicans are two sides of the same coin. Republicans are used to provide policies that protect and support big business while democrats are used to rob us by making us foot the bill they should be paying for their own workers. Meanwhile they pretend to be at odds laughing at our stupidity the whole time.

We need to get these bastards out, because as long as they are in we will only get both the worst capitalistic and socialist policies possible. We also need to demolish tax havens.

There's good capitalistic policies, and good socialistic policies, but we will get neither as long as only the bought and paid for are in power.

I agree with you. I think this low wage deal was always part of the plan now that its revealed.

What I cannot understand is "Their dream of a democratic socialist collective dictatorship is coming.

Why put a politiical ideaolgy label on it for? Is there some suggestion that if a different party was in power that none of this would happen??????? Surely this can not be case?

I think its long past the time to see these things in terms of socialist, communist, captialist, nazi or whatever. This is a very self liminting way to look at whats going on in the world because it implies one thinks "if only xyz party was in power none of this would be happening."

This kind of implication is very NWO'ish because it causes 50% of the population to think "if only my political party was in power none of this would be happening."

Its high time people saw past this and see that enslavement is enslavement no matter which dog it comes out of.

"if only xyz party was in power none of this would be happening." thinking is wrong because we small time insignificant little nobodies don't own or control or direct any political party. One would have to rocks in their head to believe otherwise.

The people who own and control all political parties are the big time somebodies, we need to get that though all our heads.

The IMF claims that the measure would help mitigate the cost of accepting refugees and allow them to find work faster. "Indeed," the report argues, "the sooner the refugees gain employment, the more they will help the public finances by paying income tax and social security contributions."

This is madness!

How can they come up with such a completely flawed argument? There are only so many jobs, so this means more unemployment overall, and for non migrants.

Wow this is so obvious.

Something is going to pop.

Beautifully put. The drive for cheaper labour, as a motivation for allowing immigration, has been consistently put forward as leverage by the likes of Murdoch, the only ones to gain from economic immigration policies. The military-industrial complex is funded, supported and validated by those self-same capitalists. They are benefiting from the conflict that is causing mass immigration and now they will benefit from the consequences.

The only way to combat it is at grass roots level, otherwise the "I'm alright, Jack" mentality will persist, most people don't want to know how powerful they are so long as they are comfortable, and when they are not, it is always someone else's fault or responsibility. Decentralised power is only as effective as those willing and able to stand up and be counted in the effort towards creating that change.

This is nothing new because its been going on in the UK since the 1970'sbecause our government encouraged immigrant because it provided cheap labour, small to start with and now in full bloom with wages having been brought down to rock bottom but plenty of immigrants always ready to work for them especially when they have been given houses in London and our cities and everything paid for by benefits that ordinary Brits have had to save and slave for.

Many immigrants from the EU leave their families at home, live in multiple occupation houses so they put little back into the community because they don't pay things like council tax, they bung a landlord, often an immigrant and share a mattress then merely turn up for work, send money home etc and hop back home if the tax man calls. I stumbled on this when I went to look at a house in Hove to buy and all the rooms merely had mattresses on the floor and obviously was used virtually as a a camping ground - God knows what the immigrant who was selling it was actually earning but I bet he never paid his tax bill.

Others come here with their families because they know they will be given houses where they want to live e.g. London, where most Brits can't afford to live. Their council tax and benefits give them a lovely lifestyle and, if you are unemployable because your english isn't good enough or you expect to wear extreme clothing etc etc then you don't have to get work and often get more on benefit than from a job. We have currently, without any more coming, an unemployment rate within this group of people at over 50%.

The benefit budget is huge without having to take into it the cost of 'free services like education and especially health care and many people today are motivated by medical issues due not only to poor care in their own countries but the fact that many have interbred with family members and are coming with disabled people who will only ever be yet another source of benefit drain as we try to look after these people.

Slavery has already come to Briton through mass immigration for most and our government brought it in.

Cheap immigrant labour means a bigger and bigger welfare budget and puts ordinary people who are struggling with mortgages, working long hours and trying to get their kids into a school of their choice under impossible pressure. In the UK we are on the edge of some very difficult times ahead because of government decisions to pad the elite with even more wealth through wages being driven down to exploit people even more by the importation of cheap labour. Something I expect some will remember our illustrious politician Johnny two jags Prescott who was involved with companies employing immigrants as cheap labour - the resentment

It doesn't help when all the new homes constructed then end up on the buy-to-let market, where the landlords have been forced to invest their savings and pensions into property simply because it's the only way to stop the government from raiding their earnings:

Yup is why I support Bernie. Irregardless of any policies he may or may not support, the very fact that he's grass roots and non-super-PAC makes getting him in one of the most important things we can do. We need evidence we can win against big business.

There actually may be some advantages to employing the refugees. Maybe giving these men something to do will keep them off the streets. In fact I believe that made-up government jobs would be perfect!

Here's my proposal:
1. Since the male to female ratio is so high, the jobs need to be tailored to men specifically.

2. Good hard manual labor should tire these men out sufficiently so that they won't pose a threat to civilization.

3. Perhaps areas in the EU need some tunnels dug through a few mountains. Or perhaps a new reservoir or two needs to be excavated. Waste treatment plants need to have their sedimentation ponds cleaned.

4. All able-bodied men are required to participate. Pay is 1/2 of the prevailing minimum wage. No overtime rates, no paid holidays.

5. Only tools allowed will be picks, shovels, chisels, hammers, wheel barrows, etc. Only non-automated tools will be allowed.

6. The work week will consist of 12 hours per day, 6 days per week. The extra hours are required because of all the prayer breaks.

7. Expenses will be deducted from the workers pay, including: housing, food, education, administrative fees, taxes, etc.

8. The balance of their wages will be paid in a form of limited currency only accepted at specific outlets. Refugees will be required to purchase all other supplies at a "company store" using this limited currency.

9. These "company stores" will allow the refugees to open limited charge accounts. Payments on those charge accounts will be deducted from their next paycheck.

10. As workers prove themselves worthy, they will be allowed to pursue additional training and education.

11. When a worker decides to leave the EU and return to their place of origin, any limited currency they have in their possession will be converted, at the prevailing rate, to the currency of their non European destination. Less administrative fees of course. These funds will be delivered to the former worker once they cross the border into their destination.

Some students of history will recognize this system as one that predominated in the late 19th and early 20th century in the US. Many of our forefathers lived and labored under this oppressive system. But the strong and motivated ones survived to help build the US into the nation it is today.

I believe one of the problems with these refugees is that many of them have come to the EU for a free ride. Once the freeloaders find out that they have to work hard for their bread, I believe you will begin to see a significant reversal in the refugee trend.

Also don't forget....

Meanwhile their women are taking up arms to defend themselves. Here they are rapid European women and causing problems.

Actually I tend to agree. But there may be a few who are worth keeping.

That's the reason why I believe putting them to work at some hard labor will help to separate the wheat from the chaff. I don't think it would take more than a few weeks before a great many of them decide to leave on their own. The other positive effect is that once the incoming refugees find out what waits for them on the other side, a lot fewer of the unmotivated able-bodied men will decide to come across.

With respect to immigration I see two types of people: immigrants and emigrants. Immigrants are people who are seeking a new life for themselves and are willing to do whatever it takes to achieve that goal. Refugees are emigrants. These are people who are simply try to get away from a bad situation. For the most part I don't think they care where they land, but their main goal is to escape, not necessarily to improve their lives.

Unfortunately the EU has made it too easy for them. The politicians are giving away a lot of benefits that need to be earned. Immigrants are willing to work to earn those rewards. The refugees, or emigrants, are not. A little program like the one I propose would help to separate the immigrants from the emigrants in the horde of refugees crossing into the EU.

The sad part is that neither your proposal nor mine will ever be implemented.
