andwhatabout those paralegals working for the State that deleted those key phone records? I bet those were calls about setting up Trump 😃

What all these other witnesses are doing is confirming Cohens testimony when he takes the stand with the knock out blow.

Do you agree the fact Trump paid Cohen validates Cohen?

How do we know Cohen told Trump the truth about the "legal" fees ? 💡

Why does that matter?

But pretty sure it’s been established what this payment was for.

Now up to the jury.

Yup. The payment was made by Cohen. 😃

If Trump had not paid Cohen back we would not be discussing this.

Legal fees are legal fees when a lawyer tells a client it's legal fees. 😀

Are they?

That does seem to be the question.

There’s something about a crime to cover up a felony.

What other reason could there possibly be for doing that?

No proof offered of any crime or coverup or felony. 😀

They reimbursed Cohen with extra to cover the taxes, which indicates Trump payed it with the full knowledge it was being disguised as legal expenses.

Is there 100% rock solid verified proof of that? 😃

That’s up to the jury to decide.

How can a Jury "decide" something without proof? 😀

It’s up to the jury to decide if there is absolute proof. I personally think there is, but that’s kind of irrelevant.

No it isn't! A jury can only deliberate on the evidence presented by the prosecution and/or defense. And, in a criminal (not civil, mind you) that evidence has to equate to proof beyond any reasonable doubt in order for a jury to return a guilty finding. The jury is deliberating on the evidence presented by the respective legal counsels. The legal standard is lower in a civil court (i.e. preponderance of evidence), but this isn't a civil trial.

Now, you may think this point is pedantic, but it is absolutely not. The jury doesn't decide on the validity of proof itself; in other words, they don't decide if a gun for example is real or not. This responsibility goes to the respective legal representation (i.e. attorneys). The jury's job is to decide whether the proof submitted as evidence constitutes sufficient weight to render a guilty verdict beyond any reasonable doubt on the accused whom is standing trial.

The Wall Street Journal reported on January 12, 2018, that Cohen paid Daniels $130,000 in October 2016, a month before the election, to stop her discussing the alleged affair.

He held no political position when the alleged incident occurred. Who cares anyway?

But he was campaigning for office.

AT THE TIME...wasn't Trump ALSO married with a family who, like any of us, wouldn't want hurt and upset by false accusations of infidelity?

Madeleine Westerhout testified under oath that he was concerned about his family and not the election.

AND Westerhout was a subpoenaed witness for the prosecution.

She [Westerhout] also recalled that Trump was "very upset" by the Wall Street Journal's 2018 story about the alleged hush money deal with Daniels, saying "my understanding was that he knew it would be hurtful to his family."

You didn't finish your last sentence.

Yet, here we are...in a highly biased jurisdiction, with a lead prosecutor fueled by ego, political hatred and led by a judge who is in lockstep with the political bent of those who appointed him...AND, who is willing to legislate from the bench at every given opportunity to promulgate the political agenda.

Be careful what you wish for, this level of venom knows no boundaries! Clearly the judge doesn't think he has any, as he has so aptly already demonstrated.

Soooo what?????? He HELD NO POLITICAL OFFICE at the time. It's completely irrelevant. Lot's of people campaign for POTUS. Until the time they are officially elected, they are just a citizen, protected by SS if they made it that far but that's it.

Glad you feel that way.

When does the jury decide on Tara Reade?

Or are you OK with double standards? Some women more equal than others?

Well, I’ve been here since 2007 and other places before that.

I’ve come to the conclusion most things are what they are.

Very rarely does a conspiracy actually prove itself.

No. The left are making up alleged crimes for their mock 'trials'.
No matter what .. there were going to be trials, and lots of them
until they manage to get something to stick.

There is NO LEFT in that equation.
