I hope the House goes ahead and take the vote. Do it for crying out loud, take the vote. Let's see just how many vote to proceed. If the vote goes against it will it matter at all to those who want to keep screaming, nah, no, that will keep on.

As for the kid, sure he will show. He did say he wanted to do it in public. Why would the committee want to keep it secret. What could be gained from that other than investigative fraud.

It will be interesting to see if any Democrats vote to have a formal impeachment inquiry. And you're right, full House approval isn't necessary for House and Senate Republicans to keep exposing the long string of Biden Crime Family criminal activities. (It's no longer "potential", now that Hunter has been arrested for gun violations and tax evasion)

All witnesses have been interviewed in private/closed-session by the committee, and the transcript released if anything newsworthy was found. If the witness or whistle-blower is willing, a public Q&A follows.

Exactly that, so they could twist his words and lie. But if it was in public, they could not do that, which is why they are scared to make it public!

Also so far all their witnesses have said there is no evidence to impeach Joe.

In private, there is no grandstanding by the person being interviewed, or by the attention-loving Democrats on the committee. The dimwit Democrat who put a bucket of chicken in front of him during a public testimony, won't have any incentive to do so in private. The committee can stay focused without juvenile distractions.

Can the Congresswoman from Georgia present revenge porn in a private hearing?

Who am I kidding? Republicans don't actually show up for these depositions.

They have to. If they don't take the vote after all these months, it sends the message they have nothing to go on.

Here is a dare from two months ago to hold the vote, and they still couldn't.

Like it did for Donald Trump, maybe if Joe Biden can get impeached or indicted, it will help boost his stature!

Biden state of mind, get him into bouts of violent rant, I wonder if he will be sedate or use a double, when his crack head son is paraded during inquiries.

Or just take the TV away from him.

I think democrats will vote for it, to get rid of him.

What's the best excuse a Democrat can give for voting to proceed with a formal Biden Impeachment Inquiry.

I want him exonerated ASAP.

I am on the side of law and order.

I'm willing to be fair and let the GOP do their thing, since they are the majority now.

(Even though the real reason is they hope he is impeached by the House and removed by the Senate..ASAP)

Seriously doubt that. An impeachment would not help Biden at all.

The Democrats are now the party of Law and Order.

Historically speaking, an impeachment does tend to help the impeached party's numbers.

Both Clinton and Trump saw a bump in their numbers after their impeachments.

As for HUNTER, will Biden-Garland do the right thing and hold him in contempt of Congress,

No, he will not, as he would then have to explain why he never held Gym Jordan and others in contempt for also ignoring subpoenas! Just a witch hunt from a failing and desperate GOP!

I think the truth will come out in the future. I do believe that Joe is involved in criminal activities. It will probably be swept under the rug, and he will be cut a lot of slack because of his severely mental condition. They are not going to put him in jail. He absolutely could use (unsound mind, insanity ) as a defense and he would likely win.

On the other hand, if Trump tried to use that same defense, he would likely fail miserably. He may behave like a jerk at times, but no one worth their salt world believe him. Good luck to them both!

As always your ability to cherry pick data and not ever tell a full story never fails to deliver.

Taken from your same CNN article..

TThe dynamics for House Republicans changed, however, when the White House told the trio of GOP-led congressional committees leading the investigation that its subpoenas were illegitimate without a formal House vote to authorize the inquiry. The Trump administration made a similar argument against House Democrats at the start of his 2019 impeachment.

I am sure you viewed the Trump administration as also not cooperating right? Since that answer is not in doubt lets move on to a bigger issue.

Why did you not just report the facts? Why quote something that is your own creation vs what was said?
You actually changed the source material and wrote it as if its fact.

REALITY - TAKEN FROM ARTICLE

Former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy unilaterally launched the inquiry in September even though he had previously criticized Democrats for taking the same step in 2019 when they launched the first impeachment probe of then-President Donald Trump without taking a vote at the beginning.

The bold opening in each paragraph is the only honest thing you typed I cant think of a more deceptive approach but at least it is consistent for you.

Hunter has been coached with the best lawyers his dad can buy. There's six ways to Sunday he can play this without implicating his father or admitting to a crime. More political theater to polarize the TV addicted masses.

I don't think they will be open-ended questions. The GOP has bank records and Treasury reports. They'll hold up a receipt showing Joe paid $2.75 million cash for his beach house in 2018, and point blank ask what he did to earn a $5 million bank deposit, just 2 months before that purchase. (Ten million dollars (not yen) was sent to an LLC by a China company, which was split 50/50 between Joe/Hunter)

What has D.C. so afraid about this Impeachment Inquiry, is how it will lead to other top-level people who used the same money laundering techniques. The MAGA-brand of Republicans in charge of the investigation have (so far) not been intimidated into backing down. If they start following tributaries, they'll come across $$ laundering LLCs owned by Nancy Pelosi, Bob Menendez, Mitt Romney, and other "old timers". Birds of a feather...

Positive Indicators from Democrats This Week.

Now that we're getting closer to formalizing the Joe Biden Impeachment Inquiry, Democrats are transitioning to a (delicious) mixture of Fear and Anger..

Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) dubbed some of her Republican colleagues “idiots” and “assholes” alongside criticism of the House Oversight and Accountability Committee’s attempts to launch a formal impeachment inquiry into President Biden.

Oversight Chair James Comer (R-Ky.) is leading an investigation into President Biden’s family finances and is pushing for a full impeachment probe of the president.

Formalizing the Joe Biden Impeachment Inquiry is looking like a sure thing, despite not having George Santos to vote "Yes" with the GOP.

House Republicans almost certainly have the votes needed to formally launch an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden this week.

Nearly all GOP members either plan to or lean towards supporting a vote to formalize their investigation into the Democratic president and his family’s business dealings, according to a POLITICO whip count, while all House Democrats are expected to unanimously oppose.

It was a tricky whip operation for Speaker Mike Johnson, who can only afford to lose three GOP votes assuming full House attendance. The Louisiana Republican, top investigators and his leadership team worked to win over Republicans in battleground districts who for months had been loath to support such a vote but, so far, only one GOP lawmaker seems likely to oppose the resolution to greenlight the inquiry on Wednesday.

Funny how Democrats were so giddy when George Santos's vote was removed from the GOP collective this month. Now, they are depressed and angry because his absence is making ZERO difference.
