As some of you may be aware, aerospace giant Boeing has been facing increasingly intense heat lately, particularly due to multiple mechanical and safety failures such as a door literally blowing out mid-flight, and multiple Boeing aircraft crashing and killing everyone on board.
A former quality manager for Boeing decided to turn whistleblower and came forward with some pretty damning information. He was set to provide this information during questioning as part of a lawsuit against Boeing.
Days before he was set to provide this evidence, he was found dead in his car.

John Barnett, a 62-year-old former Boeing quality manager was found dead in his car, allegedly from a self inflicted wound

Barnett told the BBC that he saw Boeing employees pressured into deliberately fitting sub-standard parts in aircraft

He said he uncovered problems with the oxygen systems in 2016

The failure to follow procedures at the factory led to some components going missing, sometimes with non-compliant parts being taken from scrap bins and fitted to planes

Source

Boeing has of course denied John Barnett's accusations. However, government audits and reviews have since confirmed John Barnett's claims. A 2017 FAA review found that 53 "non-conforming parts" were being used off the record. Another FAA audit found multiple non-compliance issues.

I'm sure John Barnett committing suicide in his car in a hotel parking lot is totally just a coincidence.

He had actually started his testimony. It was set to continue on Saturday but he never showed up.

I thought he already gave his testimony.

Boeing, in a statement, said: “We are saddened by Mr. Barnett’s passing, and our thoughts are with his family and friends.”

I wonder what kind of knowledge he might have shared with his family and friends and what they shared with him that wasn't made public yet. Be a shame if something happened to them. It's nice to see that Boeing cares about them...

Why don’t these people ever learn ?

They parade around, make big splashy guest appearances and promises of great whistle blowing to come, and then they’re dead.

Do they ever think of just giving what they have to several outlets and shutting up ? Apparently not.

Chances are that those outlets have gatekeepers. The more reach the more control.

But I don't want end this post on a negative note. Barnett noticed a little problem with quality control at Boeing and once he started testifying about it he probably felt a huge weight off his shoulders. Now people would do the responsible thing based on the information he provided. It's probably all he ever wanted. Now he could die happily knowing he did his part. Yep, that seems about right. He realized he would never be happier than now so he ended his life on a perfect note.

I'm sure there's nothing else he wanted to share and there's nothing to worry about!

It’s better to be out in the media than just quietly go to court.

It’s not like people wouldn’t have known about the court cases.

At least going to the media puts you on the public radar and makes it more of a story if anything does happen. It’s kind of protection of sorts.

Unfortunately you can say everything to the media, but it’s only officially on the record with testimony.

A lot of times whistleblowers only have their testimony. Good to have a dead man’s switch if you have anything material though.

Much like the device in the movie 'Dr. Sterangelove', the deadman only works if everyone knows about it. There is also the problem of the man being dead for it to work.

I don't see all the threads mentioning Boeing bashing to be such. They lost the engineers at the top many years ago. Now they are just ran by business types and bean counters.

It was during the merger that it started being run more as a publicly traded company than a benchmark for engineering.

The problem is more endemic than people realize, when you look at Ed Dowd's figures you have to realize that they are cumulative. As sure as night and day at some stage they will affect a high-tech company as far as the recruitment of skilled personnel goes. Of the shop floor employees at Boeing, when asked would you fly on the Dreamliner? ten out of fifteen say "No way" The reasons are shoddy workmanship with unskilled labor. When employees work for drug money and slip out at break time for a joint. It would be ok in some work-related spheres but I doubt whether this is good for overall practice in such a high-tech company. But they are stuck with the labor pool they have. Again we have an obvious problem being ignored because of the power of spin. Executive bodies tell their superiors what they want to hear instead of the hard facts. Have a look at a hidden camera on the shop floor....the result of this will be that they will check people for cameras as they sign on for the shift it will not cure the problem. www.bitchute.com...

"Charleston County Coroner Bobbi Jo O'Neal said in a statement Monday that Barnett died “from what appears to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound."

Charleston County Coroner Bobbi Jo O'Neal is in their pocket.

Remember that name, it's Charleston County Coroner Bobbi Jo O'Neal.

What outlets are actually safe to give to? Seeing that 90%, maybe more are in bed with… ‘those who wish to quiet people’

One of the reasons we hear people saying “Epstein didn’t kill himself” from people that are whistle blowers coming forward as of recent. I’ve heard it a few times now.

Nickie Haley is a part of this debacle too. She helped Boeing in SC and subsidized them using taxpayer money a few times and had ex military Boeing employees as co-conspirators at the SC 787 facility to do it. She really is a crook. (No wonder the democrat party has been helping her.)

Sounds like they got to the family too....their statement. Why would they request a welfare check? He was there to testify.

“He was suffering from PTSD and anxiety attacks as a result of being subjected to the hostile work environment at Boeing which we believe led to his death,” relatives of John Barnett said in the first remarks since his death.

Guy looks pretty happy on his boat in this article.

He filed this in 2017. Now, after all that time and he has his shot he takes one? NFW.

Barnett filed his complaint against his employer in 2017 and “was looking forward to his day in court.”

Michael Hastings comes to mind.
