I just found a story on whatreallyhapped and couldn't believe it until I tried it out for myself.
The report on the Sgrena incident was released in PDF format and has portions of the text blacked out just as you'd see in many reports released under FOIA.

The problem though, is that if you copy and paste the text from the PDF in MS Word, the text behind the black boxes becomes available.

Here's a copy of the PDF:
www.corriere.it...

Here's a copule of screenshots showing blacked out and then copy and pasted text:

Here's the Italian article on it:
corriere.it

Really, really sloppy work.

Yea, that's kind of cool to have a classified document on your computer. But, honestly, I didn't find anything interesting in it. Well, there were some figures on attacks, such as "From July 2004 to late March 2005, there were 15,257 attacks against Coalition Forces throughout Iraq." 2400 of those were in Baghdad.

But, yea, interesting to say the least.

Yep, same as that one.
The slashdot and corriere articles just came out today and the other report just came out yesterday so it didn't take long for this to spread.

The formatting on the one you posted is a lot better than the copy and paste text in word.
