I found similar things claimed in a comment on the Mike Young article I linked earlier, by a poster called "CLEEVN" on September 29, 2009 at 5:32 pm. Also calling herself "Leilani", she talks about roadblocks and lockdowns; maybe that's where the one official got that from? Scanning local news internet comments? Leilani paints a picture of people being stopped, town entrance gates being built, and chip-and-bracelet plans involved which she says are related to the H1N1 vaccine. She says too that at one point a street was blocked off and H1N1 vaccine information handed out. Near the end of her post she says you can confirm all of this in KULR 8, MSNBC or Fox news. Finally, she says "Things have changed so quickly in the last 24 hours! Things are not and will never be the same." Maybe some of us can get more concrete evidence of this scenario?

[Edited: The above information seems to have originally come from a Steve Quayle news alert, so I take this as a reminder to be careful what we heed on random comments to articles. I still find value in random comments as points to research. Who knows, maybe the person posted on multiple sites. Steve Quayle source]

Then, I found something that confirmed my suspicions from Montana news:

Officials say a private jail in Hardin has signed a 10-year contract agreeing to house federal prisoners. Greg Smith, the head of the town's economic development authority, says the contract with American Private Police Force Organization Incorporated calls for 80 percent of the jobs at the facility to be open to local residents.

Link

This job creation could explain why Kerri Smith thinks the plan is so "wonderful".

The more I read about this today, the worse it sounded, til Leilani had me convinced martial law was about to begin. However, reading this makes me think it's just a federal prison plan that will give the locals jobs. And in the article in my "Link1" above, someone claims the City Council approved the jail to fulfill Gitmo-related and other contracts. I'd have to see it in the news or City Council minutes to believe it, as another poster there pointed out the Gitmo thing is false. It might make sense, though, as I think there are only around 200-some-odd prisoners to be relocated from there anyway.

In any case, I still understand the original point of the thread, that the American Police Force situation just seems shady in general. And since TheCoffinman posted that news story about residents claiming they are being harassed by the new "police force", I'm inclined to believe there is at least some very worrying truth in that wild story I recounted at the top of this post.

[I hope I'm not repeating anything from another thread or getting off-track, if what I say has already been established.]

[heavily edited for conciseness yet faithfulness to my original post]

We should start the "ATS Police Force", make uniforms, badges, patches, get vehicles and such, and then start arresting all these criminal mercenaries & politicians!

I know, I know, not practical. But it would be fun

There is a very important UPDATE on this story that has just been posted on Infowars.com

Our police are hired and mandated by the local governments they are local to. They are required to go to what’s called POST, or Peace Officer’s Standards of Training. This school is mandatory by Montana Law prior to be appointed as a “sworn peace officer”......

..... I spent an hour and a half with her and talked about all of the details. She and I had a positive talk where she assured me that she was “thankful for the chance to be able to talk to people like me.” I was appalled to hear that this company had “no intention of revealing who their parent company is”. Ms. Shay confided in me that she went from a reporter’s salary and conditions “driving a ‘99 Dodge Intrepid with a broken tie rod and bad front brakes”, to “a brand new black SUV that she doesn’t have to pay the gas bill for”. My jaw was on the floor....

......I then called Mr. Al Pedersen who is the Executive Director of Two Rivers Authority, the financial entity that is in charge of attempting to rebuild Hardin’s infrastructure. I asked Mr. Pedersen to elaborate how a private military company could move into a town, take over a prison that did not meet Montana Code, and dare to emblazon “Hardin Police” on their doors…Mr. Pedersen cursed me out, and hung up on me. I called him back, got his voicemail, and left the message that since he could not see fit to talk to me civilly, that I would be calling all of my elected officials as well as CNN and CSPAN. No reply

Gitmo relocation was indeed discussed by the Hardin City Council. Associated Press reported this, which I found in a story by Montana resident Bob van der Valk:

The private security angle came up in April 2009 when the Two Rivers Authority and the Hardin City Council started looking into the possibility of housing enemy combatants, currently detained in Guantanamo Bay (akaGitmo), Cuba, in their recently completed but still sitting empty detention center. In May 2009 a business called the American Police Force (”APF”) registered their domain name as americanpolicegroup.com. The next thing APF is making promises to the City of Hardin and the Two Rivers Authority in order to finalize the contract to lease the private jail as well as build a police training facility and includes taking over policing their town.

Source

And here I thought the National Guard Internment/Resettlement Specialist job was possibly for this purpose (then what's that job for??).

Anyway, van der Valk did some investigating of his own, calling up the mayor's wife, Shirley Adams, and talking to residents in person. According to him, no one he spoke with is reporting anything "untoward", and residents say there are no gates being built at the town's entrances. He says Shirley also says about the Hardin Police decals which were on APF's Mercedes: "She quickly debunked the fact that they were taking over policing the town and the decals have been removed."

Still, I can't help but wonder about yet another comment by a "Tanya Vanterpool" on that page, saying "Who would believe the Mayor or their wife at this point. Our town has been on CNN for gosh sake."
She claims that APF hired a Billings, Montana reporter as their PR person, and that she herself called her up on the phone and that the woman wasn't from Hardin and didn't know APF was an international company.

The Edward Angelino fellow, from his myspace pictures, appears to be from the Gulf States. Maybe Kuwaiti, but more likely Saud. Kuwait is nothing more than a piece of Iraq that was made its own country and Kuwaitis have a tendency to look like sun baked Iraqis.

No, imo, this guy is Saud. He's got the right features. Us Arabs can spot different ethnicities pretty easily, for instance the two chicks in the myspace picture. The one in leopard print, on the left, is of Syrian descent, Where as the one on the right, is definitely a mix of Saud and Palestinian.

Myspace Pics

Also, Edward is the general adopted "Western" name for Iyad. Many Arabs tend to adopt a name to "fit in" ie, Iyad= Ed, Mohammed= Mo, Jamil= Jimmy, or James, Hasan= Harry.

Names are also a method of deducing nationality , ethnicity, though not as precise as other methods. for instance, Iyad is more of a Gulf States type name, and Jamil is closer to Syria, Egypt. Obviously some names are wide spread, such as Mohammed.

Another way to distinguish nationality using names is wether its a typcal Shiite name or Sunni name. Also not quite as precise, but its possible. As some countries/regions are predominantly Shiite, and these are few in number, you can place a name within a narrow category. You simply use that as a starting point. Ie, Hasan= typical Shiite name, Hussein = Typical Shiite name, Jalaludin, any name with din or deen in it ( means religion)

Iyad is not a typical Shiite name, its also predominantly a Gulf States name, and the man looks Saud. Therefore my reasoning is he is Saud.

Yeah, this is all very creepy. I guess that Ms. Shay is the reporter Tanya Vanterpool said she called.

Seems they are all being swayed by money. Apparently they are so hard up they will practically sell their souls!

Funny how it's not obvious to them, but it is to the rest of us watching. What a bad example for other struggling towns in this country.

It's like Something Wicked This Way Comes... or another movie whose name escapes me at the moment...

I was on the other Montana thread just now and discovered the blog "The Hardin Chronicler", where it was mentioned:

Side Note: If any of you have done your own reading, you will note that APF has a tie with Haliburton...hence the references to Blackwater. Not a coincidence.

I'd like to see the details of this.

Incredible information people, this getting interesting by the minute.

All we need now is some more shady paramilitary groups with big money to burn from God knows where to start targeting towns and cities in the US that are strapped for money.

What American politicians do for money they sell their their voters, mothers, sisters and brothers for money.

We are becoming a desperation nation.

And like I said in before Blackwater try to buy some place in California for military training and the town made a big protest about it and the deal went death.

Iam actually very familiar with hardin, spent 12 years in and around billings montana used to work in the hardin area couple days a week.

i will be going right thru there just before thanksgiving and will definatley be checking the area out.

i can tell you this hardin is a very small town right on the edge of the indian reservation, one of its biggest draws is because alcohol is not allowed to be sold on that reservation, hardin is the closest supplier, other then that the only thing that keeps the town going is the fact that one of the few main highways in montana goes right thru hardin.

i am sure the hardin people are freaking out, a mercedes alone (without police stickers) is a very rare sight in hardin also couples with the fact that the area is policed by big horn sherrifs dept, while i was there they had no local police force.

i gotta admit the secrecy being displayed is very intruiging and i will see what i can find out.

This thread is getting more interesting by the minute!

Since I work just down the street from APF's Santa Ana office, I went by this afternoon to snoop around.

They are located in an old two story stucco building that is being renovated. The first floor of the building was locked and when I peeked in the glass doors I could see it was under construction. I went around to the stairway on the side of the building and up to the second floor. All the windows had reflective material on them so you couldn't see inside and most of the suites appeared empty, or at least had no sign on them. I snapped a picture of Suite 200 which had a sign on the door that said "South Coast Patient Center" on it. Disappointed, I headed back down stairs and out to the front of the building.

Just then a young woman came literally running after me shouting, "Excuse me! Can I help you?!" I said I was looking for a business called American Police Force but it appeared they had moved. She turned away from me abruptly and said over her shoulder that they were upstairs in Suite 201 as she moved quickly away from me. Is that strange or what?

I took some more quick photos and left as I was out of time. If anyone is interested in seeing them I will put them up as soon as I figure out how. They really are not very interesting, though.

I'll go back probably on Friday when I have more time and see if I find anything of value. If anyone has anything they would like me to specifically look for, just let me know.

Too bad I didn't know about this three weeks ago when I was in Montana. I would definitely have checked out this town for myself.

I saw mention on one of these threads that APF or it's mother company may be based in Portugal.

In looking at the Serbian family tree the current crown prince is/was married to Maria da Gloria of Orleans-Braganca, princess of Brazil and Portugal.
royal family.org It is number 27 on the link

Just my 2 cents...

Montana is known for numbers of militia, as well as strong responses to infringements on the right to bear arms and the US Constitution. Could it be that they represent the most likely threat of armed rebellion (revolution?). If a full-on revolution broke out there, would this be the shot heard round the US? And would other militias, or even unaffiliated civilians, join an armed revolt?

How many times a day do we now hear the terms "a nation divided", "revolution", "it's only a matter of time", etc...?

Could the presence of APF be an attempt to heighten the militia activity to gain info? draw them out? infilitrate? create an event, so they can be rounded up and detained? seige weapons?

And why is the local Security Director (or similar title) who was placed on leave (sorry - forgot his name) remaining mum? And why is his wife (someone mentioned she was running for Mayor) so content with the APF's presence? Why wouldn't they answer basic questions and help locals feel a bit more secure? Did she say that there would be more information on Saturday?

I'll be watching the activities over the next 48 hours... I smell a Ruby Ridge or Waco event, but on a grander scale.

I'm thinking the same thing; I'll be watching as well. This is what the just currently acquired attorney for the company said, which is curious as well:

An attorney for American Police Force, Maziar Mafi, describes the Santa Ana, Calif., company as a fledgling spin-off of a major security firm founded in 1984. But Mafi declined to name the parent firm or provide details on how the company will finance its jail operations.

"It will gradually be more clear as things go along," said Mafi, a personal injury and medical malpractice lawyer in Santa Ana who was only hired by American Police Force a month ago.

Does anybody have some photo enhancing software? I noticed on the APF Website, under their careers section the picture of the eye at the top of the page has a reflection in it. It looks like some sort of address sign.

Probably nothing too valuable, but I thought it was kind of strange to have any sort of reflection showing, unless it meant something.

Very Very Interesting thread
