Am I Just Incredibly Paranoid?

well today i was surfin around the ol' world wide web doing some reserch on alien abduction whitch brought me to this site...

Iwasabducted.com

So i was looking at all the reports and such i signd up etc...

And as i clicked to go on to chat channel i got this...


Now dosnt this mean that a 3rd party could potentialy look at your goings on ,on that site...

So could the govrment use that site to see whos being abducted where there being abducted,or whos seeing UFO's and where there seeing them

Or...am i just being paranoid?

I don't get why they see a need of an encrypted (zertificate) access to that webpage. Also I have to click twice on each button that it works.

Well think you should ask the webmaster what's with that zertificate thing.

Wow, that is crazy. I would be thinking something is wrong also, your not paranoid. Let us know if you find out anymore information.

The fact that someone would want to monitor that sight lends credibility to the fact that someone is very interested in abduction, secretly so.

Well, there is a coupla Washingtons in there, and Dulles? As in Dulles air force base?
Hmmm, interesting.
I wonder how many people who are genuine abductees don't go there because of that security mumbo-jumbo?

Yes i was pondering that myself,

It looked like a pretty decent site i was going to start posting in there fourms , but after all this security stuff..i think il give it a pass..somthing dosnt add up there and i dont like it

Dulles is a completly diffrent place altogther unfortuantly

There is an airport in Dulles and I am pretty sure Dulles is just outside Washington, D.C. Probably alot of govt typesoffices there.

Could be that powweb.com is just the webhost of iwasabducted.com. Still it shouldn't be trusted if they ask for certificates.

Where did you come up with the results though? They may just be a log of who visits the site.

I think you're reading too much into this. This not an uncommon occurrence within hosting.

If you want to go there and post I wouldn't worry about it. It just doesn't look malicious to me.

Everything in this day in age is monitored and logged down in some form. There's every chance that the site is being monitored, but I wouldn't hold back from posting there.

My computer is regularly 'attacked' from Washington and areas within Australia
