It took us more than a decade to do whatever we did in Afghanistan and Iraq that equals 10 winters in Russia and i am willing to be there are a lot more well placed spies within the USA.

Wilhelm as you put it actually relaxed the Eastern front forces when the Russian troops pretty much went home and started a revolution shortly there after.

We were not fighting a war in those places, there were not tanks and ships and planes and artillery positions to attack.

It was asymmetric warfare, with no targets and nothing but civies on all sides.

These are not a comparison at all.

We completely crushed the Iraqi army in less than a week. That was warfare, the rest was occupation.

At first.....no, honestly we would nuke somebody within hours tops. To show the American people they are going to prosecute those responsible in the face of millions of deaths. Those actually responsible would likely get away with it personally, but their peoples would suffer a great cost, their families, their friends, their lands.

Then we have the rape and murder of christians in Iran. Then we have the interrogation and torture, the lies, the secrets. What do we know anymore but ignorance and our polluted earth. Have enough people died at this point for people just to stop being fanatical murderers? And THEN we have Putin rounding up the Russians to attack the West. Can it get anymore Ironic? And of course, paid for by Hollywood and brought to you by the CIA. Next all the idiots in the entire universe, they'll be turning into monkeys and sending themselves back to the original planet. You know, the one that smashed into us a few freaking many years ago. I don't even know what's going on. You can't get over the media anymore. I can't follow any news because it's just watered down pretentious nonsense, but I've heard there are drones in the sky now.

I never said Russia would launch a strategic attack on the west. That would be suicide.

But they could very well use tactical nukes on the battle field. IF these nukes are just used on the battle field against military targets and positions then MAD could still remain in place. Of course you have the risk of escalation. But in theory you could have a limited nuclear war. As long as some idiot don’t launch a megaton range strategic nuke at city.
If the war is contained in the Crimea then I doubt that will happen. But if the west let it spill into Russian territory I would 100% expect to see Russia defend its own land with tactical nukes.

Germany still lost world war I

Russia still remained russian albit without a monarch.

It also got completely bulldozed by Russia in world war 2

Russia may be awful at fighting beyond its borders. But as soon as Russia is put on the defensive its a whole different game.
Don’t see why the USA is exception to this rule. If they outright attack Russia the result will be a lot of Dead Americans and Europeans.

You can rar rar chest beat as much as you like. Still don’t change the fact that all out war with Russia would be a very very bad idea.

If the war is contained within the Crimea? Probably the USA, EU and Ukraine will win. If it spills over? I wouldn’t hold my breath.

The real question in this though is who actually attacked us? Nobody actually knows.

We blamed Iraq, we blamed Afghanistan, these were mostly Saudi's yet they got nothing.........pretty messed up really IMHO.

I agree with everything you said here. There is nothing I can even begin to make a counterpoint on.

Though you did ignore the fact Russia is going to be the aggressor here, and that means that we for once wont be the bad guys.

This goes a very long way in the hearts and minds campaign that will obviously follow in the propaganda war.
