A novel blood test may predict if you are at the risk of dying in next five years, claims research. With Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, over 200 biomarkers predicting short-term mortality have now been discovered. "If a person belongs to a risk group based on these biomarker concentrations, he/she has a multifold risk of dying in the next five years compared to the general population," claimed Professor Mika Ala-Korpela from the University of Oulu in Finland. The study is based on blood samples of over 17,000 Finnish and Estonian people.

It`s a bit scaring to do this test but I`ve got to question this: If the study is taking in consideration Finnish and Estonian people only, can`t this be just a genetic characteristic of this people ?

As to your question: I don't think so. I think that, bottom line, we're all human. Human beings look more different than we are genetically.

Given the track record of mammograms causing breat cancer, I suspect any pharma company of wanting to skew the predictive results in their favor. So as minimal precaution, don't let them provide the needle

And would I want to buy into 'you will probably die soon' meme? Nope.

Do I trust the insurance industry not to cheat with this info? Nope.

Do I trust the medical fraternity to give safe nutritional info to counter the risks? NOPE.

Sad yes. As info like that could be used so well, it's just guaranteed not to because of the toxic climate created by rogue corporates and the banking debauchery (can't call it an industry).

why? You want to take it? Simply consider that today could be your last day or mine and go from there. I was just telling my son as he left for school that my last words to my own mother was "I love you". She died two days later. Live it all like there is no tomorrow because really there is no tomorrow for some of us.
