I am off to see my besty, and watch a crapload of Japanese manga animations for the weekend! Rock on everyone!

I just got off the phone with my Bud at the farm. I think I just talked him into raising Goats as well. His wife has got to hate me.

I see the day is rolling along rather nicely here.

Holy Smokes!

I didn't know Saxon was still around. I think I would be creeped out nowadays seeing them live (or still alive).

But then again, I would probably creep out a lot of the youngins' as well if I were in the crowd. Seeing older folk in the crowd always raised my eyebrows when I was young.

You guys are into F1 aren't you? I just saw on SkyNews that they are looking at a F-1E car. Totally electric. But they would need two cars to finish the race.

What do y'all think?

I watched the LucasOil Off-Road race today and it was a good hours worth of entertainment. A lot like the Rally races, but a tighter course.

Loved it Night....S&F girl....and yes Dawg....it's a pendulum...you clocked it! LOL!

Electric cars can be very fast. Especially fast accelerating.
They have instant Full-On Torque from very low revs, and would probably make good race cars if they can keep the battery weight down.
But they sound.... like nothing, maybe a low hum? pretty boring from that angle methinks.

There are already electric bikes racing at the Isle of Man TT and they do seem pretty quick too.

I'm not a huge fan though. I prefer the howl of a highly tuned petrol engine and the smell of the oil!

It was our first gig tonight with the new band.
and... it went quite well! (Much better than I expected)
Maybe there's hope for them after all? We shall see!

The punters seemed to like it and we got paid so... a good night all in I reckon.
and... It's great to be back on a stage again, I'd forgotten how good it feels!! LOL

The cars they showed had a high whine (though still quiet) pitch to them. They did seem to be fast though.

But I agree, it didn't trip my trigger. But Racing is where a lot of the tech we see today in cars comes from.

I think I'll rue the day when I see cars and trucks hmmmmmming past me going to and fro. I'll probably step in front of one because I didn't hear it.

Good to hear your gig went OK. You didn't blow out the rest of the 94 yr olds hearing did ya?

Believe it or not... the 94 year old was UP DANCING!!!!
He was brilliant. Made a speech and everything.
