I'm in the Shed, shredding paper sheets into shred. Quick...try to say that five times fast!

That that that that that (wasn't difficult...don't know what Dawg's talking about)...hahahahaha...

Yeah, my mood is pretty good this morning. The sun is still shining, the coffee pot is half full...and no one needs me for anything right now, lol.

You want me to get a garbage bag...or recycle box...or matches? (for your shredding paper sheets into shred)

Matches. I always take my shred to my buds farm and use that to start the bonfire. It's pretty much impossible to recreate the sheet after its been shredded and burned. Old habit from the Army.

I kinda figured you would say that, lol.
But geez...what exactly are you disposing of? Top secret files? Pics of aliens? Old love letters?

Yeah, let's make a fire!! We can have s'mores...and burnt weenies!

Some times talking to ones self is the only way to get a sensible reply!

In my case, talking to myself is sometimes the only way to get an interesting one. Not around here of course. Here I am surrounded by ammusing persons!

I have not been as active today on the boards as I would like, because I was taking delivery of a few bits of stock and generally busybodying around our shop!

Hey dude!

So, you are shredding your documents eh? Make sure to keep all your appendages out of the shredder feed slot when clearing jams!. Appalling things can result from inattentive use of shredding equipment. Also, if your shredder goes bang, just make your documents good and wet with water, and put them in a food blender.

Pretty much anything older than ten years old, or just plain trashmail. The only thing I really keep are my military, medical and tax records/paystubs. Those three alone take up four milk crates.

But the real reason I have to do this is I can't find my truck title or Birth Cert. I know they're in there somewhere.

Hiya hunny! Well, I would prefer to talk to you guys...but if I'm alone, I'll do...hehe

Hey, I'm glad you're enjoying your driving lessons! I just love driving.
I once commuted an hour each way to a part-time job that basically only paid for my gas, lol...but I would grab a coffee, blast the tunes, and totally enjoy it!
I call it 'therapy time'.

I think that I will attempt to leave a year between qualification, and the use of any music playing gear in the car. The reason I say that, is that I want to get that period out of the way, with as little by way of distraction as I can. I will want to have every sense straining to ensure that my first year of driving is as trouble free as possible, and I think that having any music playing in the car until I have that first year under my belt, would be detrimental to that.

That will mean that I will be listening to more metal during all other times to account for time spent driving!

Well, that makes sense. You will find, after a while...that driving becomes second nature. You do it almost automatically, without having to think through the process.
Are you learning on a standard or automatic? I learned on both...automatic for my driver training class, then standard in our family car.
Relax a little. I know it can be 'death on 4 wheels', but I've been driving for over 30 years...and never been hurt.

It's FUN! True's new motto..."Must have more FUN!" (just teasing you)

P.S. Dawg...doesn't your vet have a copy of your birth certificate? lol

That's good idea, but it seems that would also screw up the blender wouldn't it? Besides, summer coming soon and if I trash my blender, I couldn't make Daiquiris. That would make me sad.

My folks lost my original Birth Cert and I had to pay $250.00 to get a certified birth cert. (Whew! That's another mouthful!)

And it took forever to get it. I was born in Cali and on a military base that no longer exists. Lots of hoops to jump through. I don't want to go through that again.

Our governmental process is all about jumping through hoops too.
Luckily I still have my original birth certificate...it's etched into a big rock...delivered by mailman riding a dinosaur...(yeah, that was an age joke)

True's blender idea would only work if your documents were written on rice paper...then you could add bananas and milk and make a smoothie! lol

I thought that Daiquiris were smoothies.

MMmmmmmmm...very fun smoothies. If it were warmer, I'd have one for breakfast.

I would have thought that it would be about the consistency of porridge, so no. You could coat the blades and the jug, in olive oil to make it easier to pour out afterward.

HUGS!!!!!!! I love flavored coffees!
Mom is still in the hospital. They keep taking more tests and she can't come home until her doctors read the tests and decide from there. It's scary even though she sounds ok. I remember the last time we had my Dad in the hospital, he was laughing and joking with us and the nurses and the next thing you know it he passed away!

So prayers and good vibes would be appreciated from all.

Sending your Mom love, prayers and healing vibes!
Think positive hun. Visualize her coming home...in your head, with your eyes closed.
You know we are all supporting you here, and hoping for the best possible outcome.
