The only time I *might* have projected, everything was in black & white. I found it extremely difficult to move around, and nearly impossible for me to raise my arm up to pull the chain and turn on my overhead light in the middle of the room. I was barley able to stand and basically stumbled back over and into my body on my bed. Not sure if that was "astral" or not.

There is some weird things that go on in states of consciousness. Just don't try to think that you know what things are and they wont become real for your awareness.

All I ever saw in the void, which is different from sleep paralysis, was a few rope lights in the shape of alpha omega overlapping a few times.

technically that wasn't like the void (it was not empty), but it had the same qualities so I don't really consider that one of my trips there, to the void.

Does anyone remember Stuart Wilde?
How he had that heart attack? RIP, he had some good books, but there is a price for messing with peoples spheres for all those Astral Projecting, I can tell you something about you that you don't know types.

Seriously if any of you so called know it all's have anything constructive to say, how bout just answering the damn question lol
What do I look like in your fantasy land?

Nothing? Dark matter? My imagination? Bovine methane?

Actually, I didn't bother to look. Sorry; I, too, am very busy...growing older.

Good luck on your quest for knowledge, tho!

Some echolocation exercises might be helpful, that's how we blind people get around this reality.

Close your eyes, sit, stand or w/e's comfortable and move your hand in front of your face. If you focus you'll eventually be able to make out a mist that moves ever so slightly as your hands move through it. Once you get used to it you should be able to do it without conscious thought, and with the stuff around you as well.

No cane for me, thank you.

You look like you sound in your posts on here, arrogant and ignorant.

That's intensely interesting, and in my opinion incredible! Do your other senses seem to be heightened too?

Honestly, I never really thought about it until recently. I learned as a matter of circumstance, adapting to my environment just like everyone else. I've been doing it for years apparently, but didn't notice until I saw my left hand move past the left side of my face - and I'm completely blind in that eye. You could shine a flood lamp in that eye and I wouldn't notice until the iris muscles started to spasm. Well, that's not entirely true, I learned to map rooms within a few weeks after going blind, I just didn't realize what I was doing way back then...

Anyone can do it if they're willing to learn; just grab a blindfold or turn off the lights, no need to poke out your eyes.

A couple things I like to do that you might want to try:

- If I sit in a quiet room I can map it by breathing/whistling, depends how large the room is. If the room is fully dark and silent it should be pitch black, any 'light' you see is sound bouncing off of something.

- Listen to loud music! More noise means brighter light means easier to see moving objects. (that's how I first noticed my hand) What you see is the sound, what you don't see is the object. Different sounds bouncing off different objects produce different patterns. Tap on the desk, move your hands or sing along and 'see' what happens.

Are you kidding? I wouldn't want my eyesight restored, it would be way too easy to get around the house... how droll...
