neither do some forms of FTL. there are legitimate solutions to Relativity that do allow it. these are mathematically valid. but because scientists do not like the consequences for FTL they disregard these valid solutions.

There are a lot of things we can't achieve at the present. We can't live on Mars at the present. But we're learning.
The thing is, those things don't violate the physical laws that we are aware of.
