Elvis Died...Where Was I ?

I was standing ( with my swimming trunks on ) in a shower at a public swimming pool . My friend ( I was 14 ) ran in and said , ' Elvis is dead...elvis is dead...elvis is dead.

I kinda liked ' hound dog ' - but , I was certainly no FAN .

Why the hell , do I have to know where the hell I was when Elvis died ?

Is somebody stealing part of my brain ?

Sorry , I 'll delete this...I'm just caught in a trap - and abit paranoid.

I was in an incubator after being born 3 months early. Why would I know that? My dad has to be his biggest fan... so much so that my daughter (his granddaughter) is stuck with Elvis for a nickname til this very day. If my mom would have allowed it, it would probably be my legal name right now. Eh.

I have no idea, but I know what I was doing/where I was when John Lennon died.

Hmm. I remember where I was when John Kennedy died, where I was when the Challenger exploded, but I have no memories of when Elvis, Lennon, or any other musician died or did something notable. It's just kind of interesting that so many people apparently measure life by musical events. I just never have cared about popular music one way or another, yet other people have to have the headphones on 24x7. I'm not saying it's bad or anything--just interesting.
