Have you ever heard of the Compass of Truth?

the following is an excerpt from Aleisters Crowley`s Magic in Theory and Practice, this is only a small dot in the whole story.

11. Science enables us to take advantage of the continuity of Nature by the empirical application of certain principles whose interplay involves different orders of idea connected with each other in a way beyond our present comprehension.

(Illustration: We are able to light cities by rule-of-thumb methods.
We do not know what consciousness is, or how it is connected with muscular action
what electricity is or how it is connected with the machines that generate it; and our methods depend on calculations involving mathematical ideas which have no correspondence in the Universe as we know it.1) ?

I stumbled upon this quote long before after I first learned about the compass of truth. But it was only after I came in contact with the works of David R. Hawkins Md.PhD. that i could make sense of it...

for everyone who is interested in learning more

level-your-life.blogspot.de...

can find some information there...

it´s a very intresting topic and I thought some of you would find this "helpful"..to say the least

kindest regards my friends

What the hell do you mean 'what if I knew everything'? There are members of ATS who think they know everything.

Consciousness knows all that there is to know because knowledge only comes through consciousness. It is the omnipotent one, the benevolent one, the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. Before we ever were, life and consciousness existed and even after we all die, life and consciousness will continue to exist.

Life never stops, it is a continuous flow of information and action, there are no gaps in-between from the point of the observer, that means that it is never-ending as well.

I don't know everything but I know that what makes me live does because it is in everyone and everything else as well.

"What if you knew everything? "

Then you would be infinitely sad because for you there would be no illusion or wonder to the universe.........que the big crunch........let there be light.

Good book to read regarding your question is aptly enough Asimov's The Last Question.

from the last page of your article:

his most fertile discovery was a means of calibrating, a scale of relative truth by which intellectual positions, statements, or ideologies could be rated on a rage of 1 to 1,000. One can ask , "This item (book, philosophy, teacher) calibrates at 200 (Y/N?): at 250 (Y/N?)," and so on....

.... made me think immediately of the E-meter invented by L. Ron Hubbard for use in Dianetics and Scientology "auditing". i have been a huge fan of Dianetics since i read it over a decade ago. so, my comparison here is not as an insult to Dr. Hawkins, but rather, as a reference to possibly related phenomena.
