Africa pre-Berlin conference( 1885) was a pretty nice place to live. There were a diverse number of communities and despite occasional fighting there was an inherent system of trade and stability.

The mistake the inhabitants(natives...) made was to allow us (the Westerners) in and take over his land and culture in the guise of religion i.e Christianity. Perhaps they were awed by the sickly looking pale people, I dont know. However, I do know that the partition and imposition carried out on large portions of the continent is largely responsible for the mess the place is in now.
To all those idiots insinuating that war is a way of life there, do some research before running your mouths. This is why I support Robert Mugabe.
