habfan1968 Dr. Brown says it is not his announcement to make so he is not in direct control of when it is announced. He has said that from the beginning.

Brown is a well known hoaxer, so why should he be believed on this?

Re: fraud: To be fair, those more aware of the details of the one thing Brown was nailed on consider him to have been set up. And I am clearly not his fan, so I'm not biased in his favor. I don't think he intentionally would hoax something, it's just that his day-glo psychology makes him tend to too much enthusiasm and not enough critical thinking -- which makes him easy prey to others who may choose to leverage that to their own ends.

But, just because he's over-enthusiastic and under-critical doesn't mean that he can't ever be right, even by accident or by proxy exposure to info from others. Besides, there are worse things to be. Few as impressively annoying at high volume, but certainly many worse.

So what he wants to make people aware of is that they are controlled by psychological mechanisms other than fear. In the olden days it was fear that controlled populations. This has been pushed away due to resistance but the new control is not less profound. Head games on a mass scale - definitely - because people know how to use human nature to their benefit (and some are better at it than others).

So what could be announced that would make a difference? Most people are well aware of this. I still think only something otherworldly, to snap people out of their cognitive schemes and other habitual thinking styles could create a shift. Even then people are people. Maybe a radiation thing - mutations?

This is worth a read...

Related to Courtney Brown's announcement??

I'm not sure why, but I clicked the link you provided.

That's one of the strangest things I've ever tried to read, and I'm pretty sure C.Brown wouldn't have any leanings THAT far off center...

It's definitely some far-out stuff but I find it curious that the site has had info leaking out over time with a sharp increase in intensity the last few weeks just like Brown.

The info released today on that site would certainly tie in with all of CB's implications...

Well, here is my opinion, folks. At the end of the day, the results of this announcement would help propel us humanity to a Star-Trek level society before the end of this year, with us riding anti-gravity crafts and using free energy devices to generate electricity, that will be enjoyed by all humans on this planet, all to occur before January 1, 2015 AD.

I agree wholeheartedly, especially with that bolded portion Dianec - however I feel that a lot of people are unaware of this - or they DO see it, and move on rather than engaging what would seem a lost cause, because "seeders" rarely let up. Some just don't want to believe it is happening in their midst. While "seeders" are everywhere on the internet, they do seem to favour conspiracy sights...perhaps because they are closer to the truth, in some regards, and THAT idea is threatening.

I've been reading ATS for much longer than I've been a member, and I've witnessed engaged people to simply walk away from a topic, once the "seeders" come out in full force, leaving what started as an amazing discussion to fall by the wayside. Since this has been going on for a long time now, people's impatience with them wears thin and they will be that much quicker each time, to drop a thread rather than wade through the pages filled with "seeder" comments. As great as the Mods are (here and elsewhere) it is impossible for them to be everywhere at once.

I often wonder how many discussions have been thwarted, that would have brought together interested parties, whose ideas might have been the very changing of a situation? I guess the solution is - KNOW they exist, ignore them as trolls and carry on as if they weren't there. In other words DON'T LET THEM WIN.

Honestly this Implication couldn't have come at a more perfect time...

Whenever -I- see a thread that I disbelieve or have absolutely no interest in, I personally avoid it, and leave it to those with who share in that interest. If I feel I have a counter-view to offer I may post that once; but certainly not repeating myself ad nauseam for pages, interrupting the discussions of others on purpose. Others do not avoid threads they disagree with, and now some will be easily seen for the "seeders" they are.

What was the last event that we all look back at and think, that changed how we all live on this planet? What was the last set of information that collectively all humanity changed the way we live?

I believe the first world war was the only real cause of change how we live and how we allow our governments to operate.

Well, with your stellar (pun intended) track record, I guess I better pre-order my Star Fleet uniform before the rush for them starts.

Manufacturers need to get started yesterday for all you describe to occur within 9 months.

Whatever Dr. Brown's announcement, my opinion is that your scenario is not going to come to fruition.

I'm over-the-top excited that in four days will be the Ides of March and C. Brown's big announcement can finally be revealed after a month and a half of palm-sweating anticipation. I'll give you an early spoiler. He'll announce that the announcement will be made in April or May.

I'm being deadly serious here. No amount of gravitas can emphasize the gravity of the serious mistake being made getting us into this deadly serious mess.

What is this deadly serious mistake you ask? You did not... but the seriousness demands it be gravely offered.

Taking yourself seriously enough to miss noticing the seriousness of the folly of seriousness.
