It's a good exercise and I've just done it.
Before I did ''sheep counting'' in my head, I heard all the noises of electronic devices surrounding me getting louder and louder. I then started
to focus on counting slowly, 1,2,3........ but the noises destructed me; I tried to work it out; this time I made a great effort by pulled myself
together and then I started to count 1,2,3,.... again; perhaps after counted to 9, I was very aware of my heart beats, I realized that following my
heart beats helped me more than ''sheep counting'' , so automatically, I shifted it to ''heat beats counting''. During a-100 counts, the
noises surrounding me destructed me from time to time and I was also able to hear clearly what people talking outside my room, when I lost my
concentration.
So, I presume it need a lot of practice. RIGHT?! Does it mean a person who is able to concentrate longer, is able to focus on doing this exercise
better?
