On the fantastical side of things.... I'd imagine those satanists/occult types think they have something significant. I can only imagine what kind of spell or conjur or whatever requires the blood of a pope. They prolly think they are gonna conjur up the Devil himself.

Maybe this is a dumb question....... What the hell would the vatican be keeping a blood stained robe around for in the first place? That seems quite odd to me.

The reliquary is one of just a handful in the world that contains the blood of the Polish pope, who died in 2005 and was succeeded by Benedict XVI.

Ok that is just creepy to me......

It's not odd when you understand the heretical beliefs of the Catholic Church. They believe that the Pope is the substitute for Christ here on Earth while Christ is away. One of the many titles for the Pope is the "Vicar of Christ", which literally means that the power and authority of Christ is vicariously given to the Pope. Now that you understand this, you can see where the Catholic Church would value a blood stained robe... it goes along with all the rest of their apostate idolatry.

If the RCC is apostate etc. what is the True Church in your opinion? The Eastern Orthodox? One of the Coptic Churches?

The Catholic Church is not a death cult, and satanism is very well organized from the Highest Levels of Royal Families down, they're ritualists and mass murderers.

You say potato ... I say death cult. But, I'll give you that that's my opinion and I have no proof. It's the way it appears to me.

Now, any proof for your statements about Satanism that isn't merely rabid fringe Christian fear porn?

Any self-respecting "Satanist" wouldn't give two bits about the ex-pope's robes. Excepting, of course, that it might fetch a nice price somewhere.

Satanists are for Self, nothing else. The rituals, ceremonies, rites, etc. are all nonsense.

There are different kinds of Satanists. A portion of them do believe in the same God as the Christians, just as they believe that Satan is a real being.

The true church is made up of anyone and everyone who believes that Salvation is by grace through faith and nothing else. Jesus Christ was God manifest in the flesh, lived a perfect, sin free life and died for the sin of the world; was buried and rose again after 3 days and ascended to the right hand of the Father. The true Church is the body or congregation of believers. The true Temple is Jesus Christ Himself... not a building. All religion and denomination are creations of man... not God.

I absolutely agree that religions are created by humans.

I'm confused though, that your profession of what you believe, or your credo, was created, protected and maintained by the Roman Church in the West and the Orthodox Church in the East for well over 1500 years, or almost 75% of the "lifetime" of Christianity.

I'm not sure how that can be tossed aside so easily. If the Roman Church is wrong, apostate, etc., then how is it that, for example, the Bible is the true Word of God, when it was chosen, translated, and taught by the RCC along with the theology that is inherent in your statement of belief? And if the Bible itself is questionable, then ... isn't the whole deal with Jesus rather suspect?

What other proof of Jesus is there?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I am aware that there are individuals and small groups that have adopted some form of "theistic Satanism" ... most if not all of these are cultural phenomena that have cropped up in the last few years with the rise of the internet giving them a platform. There is simply no widespread, centralized body of worship that venerates Satan.
However, when Satan is viewed as a deity, I would argue that the individuals are merely participating in an off-brand version of Christianity, as that is the only religion that posits Satan as a "god" and in that sense must be considered a member of the Christian "pantheon" as it were. (2 Corinthians 4:4) (Matthew 4: 8-9) The God of this World. (Ephesians 2:2) The Prince of the Power of the Air, etc.
Why would a Satanic cult celebrate Imbolc in the first place and why would they consider it to be the "New Year"? Satanism isn't a pagan religion; it falls under the Abrahamic faiths as it worships a deity from their pantheon.
Then again, I've known of old school traditional Christian homes that celebrate it, too so... who knows?
I read about this yesterday. "They" are speculating that this was a commissioned theft, because nothing else was taken. in other words, someone hired a professional burglar to fetch the blood.
I think, rather than some nefarious satanic ritual, someone was desperate and supersticious enough to steal the blood, thinking that it could heal someone they love or themselves from some debilitating illness. Kinda sad really.
Aside from testimonies, whistle blowers, including what I was told when I was 17, and meetings with people who allowed me to analyze the situation locally, so I know what's running it, and when posting on a thread about Laurel Valley, getting a Dead Joe warning on my computer, and when I posted that, at night, someone walked on my property and booted my wall with what sounded like big boots. CIA/MILITARY/PTB/SATANIC cult. Bad guys run the world. Well aside from all of that, which aside from my personal information, you can search on any google: THE TREE BEARS FRUIT. The state of the world is the first clue.
I'm sorry, I have to disagree with your posted position:
1. Most of what you provide is anecdotal evidence that by-and-large can't be confirmed or denied.
2. Much of the rest is rewarmed "Satanic Panic" fallacies that get repeated like a cant among certain groups when no evidence of widespread systematic satanic ritual abuse has ever been proven.
3. I'm all for reasoned explorations of government malfeasance because there is certainly plenty of that ... but scattered belief-based nonsense only adds to the massive disinformation already out there. COINTELPRO, for example. There are multiple questions about Michael Tsarion and his group.
4. I'm guessing that this mindset takes hold strongest in those predisposed to belief rather than rationality. Hearsay evidence, no matter how unlikely or fantastic, then becomes fact and gets repeated and disbursed and subsequently quoted as reality.
Cito
In Satanism there is a ritual to summon the false prophet who ushers in the AntiChrist that requires the blood of a pope and of a virgin girl/boy on the alter of Satan.
Reading Anton Lavey and Aleister Crowley rituals are pretty wicked
They already have one and here at ATS could supply the other in ample quantity.
Blood is holy to Catholics, not Satanists.
Imbolc is holy to Wiccans, not Satanists.
Nothing is holy to Satanists. That's the point.
Anything which separates you from your self, your desires, your needs, your wants, wishes and wisdom is BS.
Holiness, by it's very nature is a "setting apart" which is ludicrous in Satanic terms.
Next?
Funny thing Gryphon66 your comments mimic the early misinterpretation of the Eucharist by Romans was that Christians who devoured the flesh and blood of their leader.
Jesus is both substantially present (bread and wine really become his body and blood) and supernaturally present (transubstantiation occurs by the supernatural action of God; the accidents of bread and wine remain without the substances but of bread and wine).
The Church’s doctrine of transubstantiation excludes the idea that Christ’s body and blood are cannibalized in Eucharistic communion.
So to answer the question at hand, no the Eucharist and wine is not cannibalism and to comment further on the topic is irrelevant.
Gryphon66
The Roman Church itself is fairly obsessed with blood, bone, and death. The most prevalent symbol, the crucifix, captures Jesus in an excruciating moment of eternal torture. The Eucharist is ritualistic blood-drinking and cannibalism. (Consult transubstantiation before flaming.) Every altar must have a "relic" beneath it.
Death-cult. Who needs Satanists?
