I would just like to say thanks to everyone that took part in the survey, the results were quite interesting and it was very useful for my college
assignment.
The survey is now closed, and for anyone who is interested here are some of the results.
Out of just 7 respondents, 3 said they resided in the US, 2 in the UK, 1 in Canada and 1 in Australia. One of the questions asked was 'Which of the
following would you consider to be the greatest threat to your country', perhaps unsurprisingly among ATS users these two answers; 'Federal
government of the US' & 'Canadian government' combined were considered a greater threat, among the majority of users, than Cyberwarfare, climate
change, Iran and North Korea.
All respondents were unanimous in their responses that there should be some boundaries put in place within international law to define how a cyber war
can and cannot be waged.
Only one respondent said that their country should not publicly claim responsibility for a cyber-attack, and only one respondent was not in favour of
an international ban on development and use of cyberweapons.
My personal thoughts are that there should be some kind of international ban on cyberweapons, or at least restrictions or sanctions put in place to
prevent their misuse.
