What process revives tobacco? Can it be exploited?

That's a really nice idea! I'll try that out.

On the thread: The process mentioned in the op is called diffusion. It's like spraying deodorant in one corner of the room and smelling it in the other, it disperses, permeating through the air. . . the tobacco is sharing the moisture with the fruit/veg.
I do think there is another process here, just can't recall it... wicking? something? sh-- I don't know
