On Jan. 5th I made the following post on my personal facebook page:

Superbowl LXVIII........... Seahawk's 27 Bronco's 17

LOL.. what's the odds of that actually happening? The actual final score?

I would dismiss the Jan.5th statement as nothing more than than educated guess due the reduced numbers of contenders in the end of the season. I decided at that time to also toss out a final score.

Anybody have any idea of this being the actual score?

Do I think it will be? I wouldn't bet a dollar on it.... if it turns out to be the final score, then gosh darn it I should have bet the farm on it LOL

20-17 Seahawks

Of course I don't like Denver so I am just a little biased

I'm not sure what the score of Superbowl LXVIII (68) is going to be as it is 20 years away

Superbowl XLVIII (48) is just a few days away though and I figure the Broncos will win

I would say that you, along with most of the world, made this prediction as they are the two best teams and both were heavily favored to go to the Super Bowl before the season started. Final score. Broncos 33 Seahawks 24

The winner is - Peyton Manning and the rest of his no name offense.
The looser - Richard Sherman (thumbs down for the rant)

Vegas has Seattle as the underdog right now. I'm going with Denver. And not just because I live here lol.
Final score 24-17

I predicted these two teams to go to the Superbowl in week 1. I think the Broncos are going to run the Seahawks over though.

Hawks will win because defense wins championships. Of the last 15 number one defenses to compete for the Vince Lombardi Trophy 12 have walked away champions. While Peyton Manning had a record year, he only faced two top ten defenses, the Texans and Giants. The Sehawk's have faced all but two of the top 10 defenses in the NFL and still locked in the #1 seed in the NFC. It'll be a great game and a revival of an old rivalry, from the old AFC days when the Hawks did battle with the Broncos for division bragging rights. I think it'll be close through 3 quarters with the team that wins the turnover battle walking away in the 4th quarter. Hawks 33-23

All of which if I'm not mistaken have 10 or more TD's this season. He should really learn their names

How will Peyton Manning react when the defense comes out and dictates what you can and can't do. Every other team comes out and tries to hide their defensive scheme. What do the Hawk's do, man coverage. It'll be pretty funny when Manning comes to the line, and tries to audible to another play or change routes based on the coverage, It'll still be man coverage. What then his whole game plan that has worked for years is shot. The whole defense will be waiting and saying try me. What then... Manning will have to play old school football and hope his guy's come on top. A good bunch of guys but they won't be the best on the field.

lol I didn't realize I had transposed those 2 letters.... If the Seahawks beat the Bronco's 27-17 in the superbowl in 20 years, then all must bow down and worship he who has the gift of predicting the future LOL LOL LOL

Sadly, I am 55 and doubt that I will be around in 20 years dues to health issues I have.

I predict the Seattle passing offense will cut Payton's ability to get rid of the ball quickly, and that the defensive line will start getting to Payton, and the old guy is going to struggle, and eventually the turn overs will start to happen.

Seattle by 10.

There could be an issue on both sides when it comes to QB protection. Seattle's offensive line was smashed by SF on almost every play during that last game, the o-line did not protect well at all. Seattle had help from Kaepernick turning the ball over, otherwise it would have been a very different game.. Wilson can scramble better than Manning but he's very young lacking a lot of experience.

If both teams bring their A-game then we will see a close and very entertaining game. Assuming both teams play at their best with limited mistakes then I predict Denver 27-20

Seattle's defensive line and secondary is without a doubt going to cause problems for Manning, but at the end of the day Seattle's offense will not be able to keep up with the Broncos 1# NFL offense of all time. ~$heopleNation
