My uncle saw a fireball streak across the sky so i figured id post here for him to see if any others saw it so far , There are 3 other people that have posted on this website " American Meteor Society "

He said it streaked across the sky for a decent amount of time but not long enough to go grab a camera and record it .

We are located in Finksburg Maryland , Did anyone else see this and can as to speculate what it truly was?

If you click the link you can click on each marker and see comment's on descriptions and they say :

"As the fireball entered it was as if the sun were flying across the sky with a tail 3times the width of the fireball. After about 5 seconds it flashed a few times like a sparkler, then it returned to its original brighness for about 5 more seconds than it flickered out like a spent firecracker. It was an epic sighting!"

"I saw the fireball go across the sky, then a small explosion type flash that killed the fire."

I live in the same general area and while I didn't see the one last night I have seen two nice size ones and one small one in the last two months. It's pretty active up there.

It was an epic sighting!

Very cool...

I can't relate to many things others find valuable but this is something that I can relate, the sense of grandeur that results in observing unique events (non artificial events), or even having the keen capacity of taking the time to enjoy unique experiences (marvel) around common stuff...
