Recent sequence data has indicated that 2004 swine in South Korea have flu sequences from 1933. These isolates have reassorted and recombined with an
avian isolate (H9N2) and avian H9N2 recombine and reasort with H5N1.
If these sequences are real, there could be a major problem because a human flu virus would be easily transmitted and those born after 1933 would have
limited immunity.
