I was reflecting on wormwood for quite a spell... I agree with the interview that the known NEO dubbed APOPHIS will be the mountain-on-fire plunging into an Ocean (likely the Pacific)

but the 'wormwood' STAR is not a binary asteroid... but rather the fallen, wormwood, Star is the demonic Angel who becomes the False Prophet and the 'waters' that are 'poisoned' is the religious teachings/false Gospel/ new paganism spread by the False Prophet as a charismatic Cult Religion Spiritual Leader (the AntiChrist comes on the scene at the mid-point of the 4th Trumpet & teams up with the Wormwood-False Prophet for the last 3 trumpets/ or 3 woes )
