With so many Proven conspiracies it always amazes me the stigma "Conspiracy theorist" get.

How many times does the Government have to prove it self capable of direct intentional harm on the citizenry before we believe them capable of it.

Because the stigma is manufactured. If they are willing to dump 7.5mil to create a "gay bomb" than safe to assume they would throw 1000x that to discredit any would be do-gooder.

I loved the Gay Bomb.
If the science was there to turn it into a generalized Love Bomb, then, that would be kind of cool.
Drop a Love Bomb and everyone fighting forgets all about aggression and fighting then proceed to Love one another, however that might translate.

Chemically, I think a Love Bomb could actually be feasible.

The ethics behind it are, however, dodgy, which, I think is a little odd in consideration that in some circles it's more ethical to just kill an enemy than to reprogram them, or change their behaviors.

*sigh*

Of course, if there was indeed a Love Bomb or a Love Weapon that at least temporarily neutered people of any aggression, there'd be questions and fears about it being used against the governed by any suspect Government.

Im not so sure the gay bomb would be a good idea,
The most kick ass warriors/soldiers in history, The Spartans, were all Whoopsies.

It supposedly made them more loyal to each other and fight more fiercely to protect their lovers,
Maybe the army knew this and the conspiracy isnt that they were gonna use it on the enemy but on US troops

It's all about funneling popular belief into a narrow and controllable stream. If they can make sane people sound insane, they have nothing to worry about.

As for the OP, awesome find and thanks for posting! Will send this to all the nay-sayers I have on my list.

The budget of my small town is only 30 million - I don't see anything wrong with spending only 7.5 million dollars to test the gay bomb theory. It sounds like a lot better way of conducting warfare than dousing the enemy in napalm.

There is a difference in the budget required for government affairs and individual affairs. I think a lot of people see 7.5 million as a lot of money -

But the debt is at least 10 trillion. That is 10,000,000,000,000. Vs. 7,500,000. You would have to do 1.3 million gay bomb R&D programs in order to spend your way to the national debt, and you would have to run more than 4 full gay bomb R&D programs to equal the yearly budget of my town of 40,000 people.

And each gay bomb R&D program would pay the salaries of 75 people at $30,000 a year for one year if only 30% of that research money went to salaries - that would leave around $5,000,000 for expenses involving construction, although if the program went on for a few years, it would be less -

I am well aware of the national debt and how small 7.5mil dollars. My point was trying to reflect the rediculousness of our governments priorities. I'm not even going to get into why I think the gay bomb is just dumb because its irrelevant to my point.

So I will switch gears and say, hey, if the government is willing to give Israel 6.4 billion annually (estimate) than you can only imagine what they would be willing to spend to discredit those who would seek to uncover their secrets/crimes. Better?

Yeah it was all good. I was just pointing out the one particular thing that I thought wasn't too much of a waste of money -

Military and foreign aid spending... raises some eyes.

However - all that taxpayer spending going to spying on American and European Citizens... this is ridiculous. I think the worst kind of spending is the kind where the government spends taxpayer money directly against the interests of the taxpayers.

I say cut that spending out entirely, and maybe we would see a balanced budget.

Really, though, the status-quo is set up in a system of churning economic checks and balances - it would take someone with vision, either of the system for engineering changes, or of a creative nature -

Wasteful spending... hmm... yeah. That one's easier to cut. Oh - I'm seeing your original point here, yeah they would definitely do that. They wouldn't take the gay bomb as seriously as that.
