You get used to it pretty quickly then it's all peaches. Much better actually.... except for the smileys.

Switch to the black background. Then it is not as much of an adjustment.

It's not a bad thing to step away for awhile. But as an earlier poster stated, things seem to just get easier with the new format the more you use/play with it. They do have a board on ATS where you can go and just test things and get used to the format. I agree also, the new 'smiley's' are not so cool and I wish there were more options. All in All, its fine.

I was just on the Way Back Machine looking at ATS before September with the old design for something else...and I have to say? When they made the change ...I wasn't opposed to the new one, but so in love with what was comfy and familiar? I couldn't imagine coming to love the new one as much.

Looking at the old interface last night? It seems clunky, outdated and just... well... obsolete. Amazing how fast we can all adapt sometimes.

I didn't like each. and. every. incarnation of ATS, and wished for the previous version to stay. Now, after using this version -- as with all previous ones -- I like it. Dark is better for me.

If an old change-resistant dinosaur like me can use it a bit and see the vast improvement, you can also. Give it a test-spin.
