There is a book by the name of the Poem of the Man~God

I have read this book religiously for the past few years. I will give a little bit of background info at the end, but first I will recall a chapter I read which touched me on a very deep level, and write what I know from memory for you as it struck me early this morning with the disguise of my memory.

Here it is:

Jesus decides to go into the a pagan country. Since this is frowned upon by the Jews, Jesus take only the most trustworthy apostle, St. John, the young man who dedicated himself to Jesus.

They arrive and they see a crowd. They are performing a pagan ritual of some sort to some goddess. They are burning incense, beating a black billy goat, and chanting "By your strength... Only you can... Death to the sorceress!"

Jesus asks one of the people there. "Man, what is happening"?

The man says. "there is a woman of our village who has been cursed by a sorceress. She is on the verge of giving birth and dying at the same time, as she cannot eject the the fruit of her womb. The only way to save the woman is to kill the sorceress who has put the curse on her. This is a ritual to the goddess Diana who will kill the sorceress and lift the spell, if she is satisfied with our ritual".

"Stop the ritual! I can cure her! Will you take me to the people in charge"?

And so the man rushes Jesus up to where the Leader is. At his side are the high priests, which is evident by the garments they are wearing.

Jesus says to the leader, "I can cure the woman, if you just stop the ritual, stop attacking the creature ",

but the skeptical man refuses and says, "What credit do you have"?

Jesus tells him "I am the Messiah, foretold by the prophets of the Hebrew faith".

"And should I stop the ritual without proof that you will cure her?"

"He may be the sorceress in disguise"! say the priests by the side of the Leader.

"If you can do as you say, than give me proof", said the Leader.

Jesus asks for the goat, which has been beaten almost to death. And servants bring the goat to the feet of Jesus. All of the legs of the goat are broken, the goat is bleating on the ground, a bloody, pitiful mess.

Jesus performs a gesture and becomes bright with the radiance of a miracle shining upon his face and the goat rises in perfect health.

The Leader says to him "I will allow you to the see the woman, but if you do anything but cure her, we will assume that you are the sorceress, and we will kill you . Tell us what you want us to do".

"Stop the burning incense and stop the chanting. Take me to see the woman"

They go and the many people people follow, as they get closer the sounds of the woman in the pangs of an agonizing childbirth become louder.

Jesus gets to the doorway and stops there (at the time, anyone who enters a room where a woman is giving birth is to be considered unclean).

Jesus spots a statue of the idol goddess and demands "That statue must be incinerated! I am the Lord your God, and I cannot bear false gods to be in my presence! . Make a fire and throw the statue upon it"!

The people begin to until they hear the words of the high priests who fear the destruction of their credibility. "Fear the wrath of the gods"!

But the majesty of Jesus appearance and the severity in his eyes make the priest cower and the people continue to do what Jesus has said.

They burn the statue and Jesus tells the woman in labor, who is skeptical of Him to be at peace. And he calms her saying, "I will give you your healthy baby, who has black hair upon his head already, and his skin and eyes are the complexion of beautiful, ripe olives".

The woman yields and Jesus makes a gesture and has a greater radiance than before. She screams more and the baby is delivered in the exact appearance as Jesus spoke, and he begins to leave.

The people stop Him, as the want to thank Him, and the leader wants to make Him rich and put Him at his side.

Jesus tells them, "I must go because Israel needs Me, and my mission needs to be fulfilled. To thank me, believe in Me, have faith and pray to the God of Israel, the One and True God and Creator, the one of whom each of your souls bear resemblance". (I cannot recount the full speech but I believe that that was the spirit of the message).

"Let us give you gold." says the leader of the people, "we will do as you say but do not go away without reward",

Jesus says, "I am not a worldly king, I am the King of the Kingdom of Heaven. My subjects are the poor, but faithful believers. But allow me to keep the goat which has been saved from the ritual".

The leader assents to this wish and Jesus and John go forward back the way they came, along with the black billy goat who brays and butts at Jesus like a a happy dog which has found its savior.

End

The story I recall is volume 2 of the book series I mentioned before. I do not have the book, as I borrowed it. It was written by a paralyzed woman named Maria Valtorta who was a mystic religious who dedicated her life to Jesus as a victim soul. She received visions from Jesus and wrote the complete messianic cycle.

I will not defend her as I know from experience the teachings f this book to be divine. I will allow you to do the research, but I ask you to read of the book before you make the judgement.

Here is the website of the book valtorta.org... . It has an amount of the words and stories from the book.

God bless all, I hope you have enjoyed this.

About 20 years ago or so I read the series. Cover to cover.
They were on the list of 'forbidden books' for a long while.
I'm pretty sure Tthe list was abolished so therefore there aren't 'forbidden books' anymore.

Anyways, while reading them I saw a number of errors ... contradictions to scripture.
I don't recommend the books. That's my evaluation for anyone who cares.

They were on the list of 'forbidden books' for a long while.

So was the BIBLE...

This actually validates the revelations of Maria Valtorta more than anything else.

Always believe the opposite of what propaganda is telling you.

The Bible was banned by the Catholic Church for centuries and was actually on the list of banned books.

1229 - The Inquisition of Toulouse imposed by Albigensian Crusaders forbids laymen to read the Bible.

Source: The People's Chronology, Revised and updated, by James Trager, Copyright 1992, 1994, published by Henry Holt and Company, ISBN 0-8050-3134-0, page 108.

The Council of Trent (1545-1564) placed the Bible on its list of prohibited books, and forbade any person to read the Bible without a license from a Roman Catholic bishop or inquisitor. The Council added these words: "That if any one shall dare to read or keep in his possession that book, without such a license, he shall not receive absolution till he has given it up to his ordinary."

Rome's attempt to keep the Bible from men has continued to recent times. Pope Pius VII (1800-1823) denounced the Bible Society and expressed shock at the circulation of the Scriptures. Why do you think they killed over 50 million people and called them heretics for reading and believing the Holy Scriptures? Why did Pope Pius VII say that the Bible causes men more harm than benefit? Why would God's word cause harm? The Devil and these fake religious leaders know that if you read the Bible with the intention of learning the truth, you will leave the false for what is true.

Over hundreds of years, the Catholic religion, headed by the popes, did unimaginable cruelties to Bible-believers. They were burned, tortured, imprisoned, banished, etc. because they would only believe the Bible.
Catholic Religion Prohibited Bible Reading

Well I liked your post, it was a very good story. And like most metaphors tell a few stories at once like in the one that made it in the book.

Personally I don't think many Christians give thought to being therefore now a priest in the order of Melchizedek, and just what that means to act accordingly.

Living in the light of truth is not an easy thing to do, one must purge themselves of false judgement and the judgement of others, rarely seen in organized religions following a doctrine with no basis in truth or right.

Advice to hardened indoctrinated folks....check yourself and don't fall in to judgment, spirits are for judging not people.

Many blessings.

Idolatry and the goat cured. Jesus or anyone for that fact is 'god'? (or messenger of). NOT TRUE whomever purports to be is a dropped down in frequency 5 or 4 to 3 being claiming to be a what would organise itself to be a false demi-God (ITS HAPPENED WITH THE IDEAFORM YAWHEH, warrior prince). These beings are taking your power (in your specious belief of; gives them a cardboard strength; just apply water as truth and its glue will melt the folds/corners of the box).

If you woke in the middle of a concert in the best part, would you...

A. Wake your bud up to share in the awakening

B. enjoy the show for yourself and brag about it afterward?

Seems life is like that.

Id wonder why I slept through some songs; and one resonated enough to wake me (then question my thought process as to why I paid a scalpers price to attend this Creed concert in the first place BECAUSE MY FRIEND INSISTED IT WAS WORTH IT). Must have been because 'Creed' was the (opening act) and "Live" was the headliner. Would I wake my friend; NO (as he sleeps through the 3D experience dreamwalking). In answer to your nicely put metaphor: Life seems as that; Zeros's off 1's on, only because we are not physical beings holding an individual conscousness, we are an individual Conscousness FIRST; occupying ON PURPOSE a physical body. Everyone has it backwards. What concert would you envision this happening (just curious). "The Jericho Horns" big brass Marine Corps band; probably not.

Probabably Iron Maiden, Anthrax, Metalica.....I got the tone of your a or b answer lol thx.

Oneness doesn't sound anything like what you describe to me.

Cheers.

Thanks for your response but I must ask, what contradictions are there to scripture?

What errors?

Why did you read it all the way through?

I consider myself to be well read in the bible stories. List some inconsistencies for me, please. Anyone can just say that they are there.

Could you explain the difference of the lifestyles of the two characters also?

I just don't think you know what you are talking about vet.

I have had a few conversations with you on this site and, to be frank, I fail to see credibility in your ramblings.

Maybe if you spoke about something which could be understood by anyone other than you I would take you more seriously, but you are a man of new age religion which I find to be a bit conceited and pretentious.

Well that 'oneness' thing is individualized; so my conception of it is entirely different from anyone elses (as it is supposed to be). Megadeath, NWA, Insane Clown Posse, System of a Down, Jack White, The Pixies; Stravinsky; any of the above I wouldnt sleep through. Oneness is easy. We are all IT (the giant Absolute Unbounded Manifold) NOT GOD, just the accidental creator of the DEMI'S (Abraham), (Yahweh); we acting out and playing for the benefit of its awareness (continued creation; reinventing itself through YOU). Now what can go wrong with that; A Hitler 'twinkie winking at you' or a Slalin 'HO HO" a Pol Pot, Edi Amin, Noriega, Somoza OR the Japanese (percieved themselves) as the "Aryan" race of the Orient suddenly appears, Mao Tse 'Tongue', Kaiser Wilhelm, Shang Kei 'Shriek', Osama Ben Laden; Mohmar Quadafi, (god never said the system of chaotic order was a perfect one).

Your source for that is a notoriously anti Cahtolic source that has an agenda. It's not exactly getting it's facts straight. The Catholic church put fake bibles on the forbidden book list. There were badly translated bibles making the rounds and the church didn't want them out in the population. It had no issues with authentic bibles which were readily available to anyone who could read.

Thanks for your response but I must ask, what contradictions are there to scripture?

It's been 20 years since I read it. I remember finding many contradictions with scripture but it's been twenty years and so I don't remember them now. The one that comes to mind ... Peter tried to walk on water and sunk. In the bible Jesus reached out his hand and immediately helped Peter. In the books Jesus hesitates and panic sets in for Peter.

Why did you read it all the way through?

It was during that big 'apparition' period when everyone thought they were having apparitions.
I was a bit of an apparition hopper. It had come highly recommended at one of the apparitions.
(and it turned out the apparition was a fake .. like most from that time period - 1990s).
So I read it ... cover to cover. I remember seeing tons of contradictions as I read it.

You are insinuating I should be on another more 'frank' site; one more credible/accepting to/of my ramblings and "ITS" constituancy? RFT is my home and unless you can evict me I will stay put, pay my rent with casual random thoughtless wordage.

Maybe if I spoke slower or with more vowels, consonants and punctuation; you would be able to understand me. I am not of any 'new age' religion, I am a gnostic *atypical* (very old ancient school of thought). If say; I am of a type/or coming from your observation of conceit and pretentiousness you must recognise the same qualifier existing within yourself TO BE ABLE TO IDENTIFY IT in others. I thought your op interesting is all; and the resulting commentary. Is that not the point?

' The one that comes to mind ... Peter tried to walk on water and sunk. In the bible Jesus reached out his hand and immediately helped Peter. In the books Jesus hesitates and panic sets in for Peter. '

I have read that part of the book many times (I often do as I just open the book randomly to read whatever whenever) and I must say that that is not what happens.

Jesus does not hesitate. Peter gets very excited at first and then he starts to sink out of disbelief, then comes his panic.

Jesus is always the example of what should be done.

Also, I don't see how that conflicts with scripture. Because it was not written that Jesus was hesitant to help peter?

You may want to re read though.
