The title is the question and serves to help understand how people think, absent any political ideology, as to what they (meaning themselves) to be held as evident of being.

I further this by asking a simple question: What do you hold, to be evident of you being, to retain your life; absent of any Government construct.

For me, it is simple, I want to live. In that, I hold a basic understanding that I have the innate ability to protect myself, to seek subsistence and to seek shelter. Those are my core primal understandings of what I need to do to continue my existence. What say you ATS? What is your core understanding of what is needed to be?

I will start it off for my own thread. In the same question above, I asked my wife. Her response was that she has the innate ability to defend herself, to provide for her family (which includes wildlife) and to protect her space in which her family is residing.

The only thing people hold to be self-evident these days are their bodies, the rest of their supposed ideas on anything will stem from an awareness of their physical stature. Now that is a completely generalized statement and it doesn't apply to most out there enjoying alternative lifestyles who've become aware of something much more than earthly desires through humanly lusts, but for the most part the statement sticks, because lust has become the dominate aspect of entertainment in the world today. And it's not only sexual lust that has become rampant either but lusts to steal, to commit acts of aggression and retaliation, and lusts of power too, among others. We allow it to be promoted on a daily basis, we allow our children to watch the shows we watch, and even if we didn't all their friends watch it anyways, maybe even re-enact them out at recess the next day. Furthermore the common parents aren't as affluent in psychology as say, multi-milioniaries running Hollywood, so it becomes greatly difficult to even try to make the kids abstain from it. Nobody truly knows what they believe in anymore, they're all speaking on the basis of a combination of idealogies that have molded them into the person they are today.
