The image in question is actually the banner image for well-known (and private) torrent website TorrentDay.



The Nuke-Earth image has been used for years by TD. Every so often - such as now - TD changes the banner to promote a specific torrent.

It would be interesting to know who designed and/or made the image. Also, why are the Chinese using it?

my conclusion is that this image with a mushroom cloud was meant to mean or promote
' There is something Earth-Shaking on the Horizon'.... by the TorrendDay business


China in turn is using the promotional image in the same way... the message implied is that with the China space exploration there is, again ..."something earth-shaking on-the-horizon'




clever campaign & promotion...but no conspiracy or any premonition/ forecast of nukes going off in Europe
it is merely a clever device that say's earth shaking change is here, just around the corner, just over the next hill, etc etc

Is it just me, or does that Chinese rover look stangely familiar? Looks like somebody did some hacking and swiped some design plans to me.

To me, it looks like the mushroom cloud is right over the Ukraine. The US government just put its hands into the Ukraine's civil unrest and are probably trying to overthrow that government as well, but there's not much of a connection though. What does the Chinese lunar rover have to do with nukes or the Ukraine/Europe?

The artist would have to explain his/her reason for putting it there.

This how the Chinese express that the world is covered in a cloud of nuclear contamination , just metaphorical drawing...

Well, then there's the purpose of the picture. That one I can't know.

I don't like to guess, waste words and make other people think nonsense, so I'll just skip it.

So China used a stock image - But, i still wanna know why the artist put the mushroom cloud in the picture - and why China choose this particular image..

Seems just because it's a stock image doesn't clear up all mysteries here.

edit: just saw St Udio's post. At least thats half of of the mystery.

Maybe it is supposed to represent the launch location and it is not a nuke going off just a really big blast off lol that was over exagerrated so you can actually see it. It is a little tasteless imo but cool as a piece of art.
