Even on Star Trek it seems to all end up being about war and superiority. Looks like they are really close to some of the technology but how do we use it? They just drone killed another wedding party. This morning at 4AM something that sounded like a humming string went over the house and woke me up, it was LOUD I figured a drone as I have never heard a sound like that. They will soon be everywhere looking through our walls.

You are completely ignoring the two most important points about "the mark of the Beast";
1) It identifies, to the servants of the Beast, those who choose to serve the Beast instead of the Biblical God (so they don't get boycotted)
2) And it identifies to God those who choose to serve the Beast instead of the Biblical God, so that they get sent to eternal fires in the next chapter.
Nothing to do with money does either of those things.

The whole "control of money" thing is a red herring.
Not being allowed to buy or sell without it is not the main function of the mark, It is just a punishment for those who don't accept it.
It is plain old-fashioned boycotting, like the Jews in Nazi Germany.

What if "the beast" is providing technology and if you see the harm in it and go ahead and take it because it is fun and convenient.

I think this new technology will be used to bring everyone using it into one combined group whos thinking will be gradually adjusted simply by using it.

Star Trek is not about war... it's about avoiding it and finding solutions to it... what is so weird is everyone thinks a Vulcan would make a good captain but this is far from the truth. The reason a passionate but faulted human is always captain makes much more sense.... Vulcan just have no heart.

I guess we all better be good too now... seems the hammer is greater than the rhetoric

logic fails compassion... there would be no series if we omit the human factor in decision making.

Sword = Word = Ideology

From my point of view and if the bible do predict what has been and will be in this case.

If the sealed ones are gonna be at mount Sion then it has not been yet. But the mark of the beast have already been here a long time blinding people. The mark is spiritual not physical but some people can notice it in others by their actions or other abilities.

Maybe humanity will be there when it has evolved. Until then I believe it will be quarantine and slow unnoticed interference on personal spritual level.

The mark could simply stand for disbelief in God. Disbelievers would be marked on the forehead, i.e- frontal lobe... which is part of the brain that is used to make choices, including the choice to reject God. In other words, those who receive the mark bring the mark upon themselves, through their disbelief.

I agree with you except the disbelief in God. If a person do not believe in god because the religions seem to that person to be tainted, then do that person disbelief god or humanities view of god?

God knows who are gods children/servants. Do you really think god will judge a buddhist, atheist or muslim differently if they have acted exactly the same in their lives to others?

The only reason to follow any religion is to grow from it and avoid doing small minded mistakes and hurting others.

I think people are in fact putting the mark on the heads thru faith without thought of: religion/nationalism/propaganda/social structures.

The test is perfect. God keeps hidden and let people describe god, so that god can see what description the follower chooses. And the atheist who do not believe in god have one thing going for them. Atheists do not have a hidden agenda for doing good on this planet since they do not believe in an afterlife. God can be sure of them doing what they did without supervision.

I find that concern a valid one. In fact we have a clear example of something similar historically. I'll adjust what you said to demonstrate my point.
