How do the works of the decades immediately following the end of the Second World War reflect significant changes in American culture (e.g. attitudes
toward economics, politics, education, art, literature)? I think a lot of the literature was that of the counter culture, like the beatniks and hippy
generations that followed. It was a volatile time and it was a time of change. Why though were these counter cultures formed and what spawned it?
