DRY NIGHT FOR SPIRITS IN PUB'S SEARCH FOR GHOST

The beer may have been flowing, but it was a dry night as far as spirits were concerned when a spooky event was held at a Grimsby pub.

Tarot readings and a seance were held at the Corporation Arms, Freeman Street, last night. It was hoped contact could be made with the spirit of a former landlady who died in a fire at the pub, one of the oldest in Grimsby.

Tarot readings were a great success, but organisers failed to make contact with the spirit world.
