Parker/Shaw Choral Arrangements

No conspiracies here. Thread will bomb for sure! But, is there a conspiracy? How could choral arrangements have been so good in the 60s, and have gotten so lax today? Sure, this is not an issue that will save or destroy the world, but as a break from all the doom, I'm going to listen to some religious-pop compositions by Alice Parker!

I will be digging through this for a while. Her style has been a major influence on my own choral writing.

Thanks for sharing. I don't think ATS has to be doom all the time... I for one like this site because it has all kinds of stuff NOT being shouted about by the main stream media, including posts like this.
