I don't believe any of the back-peddling, or knee-jerk legislation to cover their asses will make any difference.

"Sometimes when we're up to our asses in alligators it's better to just drain the swamp."

I did a thread awhile back, on the money trail, to the healthcare act. One word, "despicable".

The rising prices will be dealt with because the government will set the price they are going to pay
....and that is it...

But...but but Obama said prices for healthcare would go down,
remember??? Barack said people will have healthcare for
less than the price of a cell phone bill. Remember?

If these people are really that in-love with their fake insurance policies, I'm beginning to think that maybe we should just let them keep them. At least until they wake up on their own, (usually during bankruptcy proceedings) and realize just how bad they've been getting screwed.

On the other hand, I think we should demand something in exchange for this little re-write and that would be the creation of a national single-payer, "public option."

That one little thing would go a long way toward preventing the rest of us from getting screwed as well.

I question this premise...why would I need Congress to dictate and control my private contract that I want with another private entity? I need to seek their protection with my contract?!

The democrats in congress are genuinely scared for their jobs, with the mid-term elections coming next year the democrats in congress are terrified that obamacare will be their ticket out of office next year when the voters hit the polls.
The democrats know that Obamacare hurts more people than it helps and they know they can`t win re-election when they have pissed off a majority of the voters in their district. They are scrambling to make changes to obamacare to make it less harmful to their re-election campaigns.

Fake? Why are they fake? Was the contract that they signed prior to PPACA fake? Erroneous? False? Maybe some clarity on this would help.

Damn good point.

It makes me sick to think that these maggots only worry if they will not get elected again, instead of doing the right thing in the first place. Republican's or Democrats alike.

Disgusting, entitled elite that have no idea how the majority of the people in the USA are having tough times.

You mean like the ones already in place that actually retains the power to the People? The powers that they do not utilize? Instead, we should just abdicate more power to the Government because we are just too stupid to vote out those who do harm....

Term limits are already in place; the People have chosen not to utilize them...

I think he's already done that. On numerous occasions. Just blame the President if a meteor strikes earth. Isn't it his fault when it snows?

(note: this is sarcasm).
