In January this year Garrett Mc Namara set the world record by surfing a 111 ft wave in Nazare.

Truly amazing! Those, guys are bad-ass! Ive been surfing for years and love it.
Those waves, would be insane to handle. Not to mention the chop. You must
ride it in... You would get thrashed so bad with that swell. It would take a minute
Of holding your breath, to just find your way to the surface, when going down.
even if you rode with your leash on... wouldn't hold, to pull your way up.

Like in the worlds biggest washing machine. Thanks for posting S&F

Ahh, the Hurricane/Tropical Storm is kicking them up. Just clicked where the power of the waves were coming from...

Giante waves of this region are due to na underwater rock formation, but bad weather can help making it even bigger than usual...
