7.6 Magnitude earthquake off FUKUSHIMA Coast - Tsunami Warning Active

Well this can't be good. Not sure how serious this is but with how unstable the situation is there it can't help. Please update this thread as the story unfolds today.

"A 7.6 magnitude earthquake struck 231 miles east of the Japanese island of Honshu on Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey reported."

Another source says the the Japanese authorities are expecting a wave of about 3ft so no real danger thankfully .

That's great news. The poor people there have been through a rough decade. I hope it stays this way and no closer aftershocks occur.

How much more will it take before the fuel pool in reactor 4 completely topples over? I wonder what the brilliant minds at Tepco will come up with when it inevitably happens. The prospects for long term human habitation in Tokyo are looking awfully grim. Hope everyone is alright over there.
