New to the FEMA camp list. hehe.

Hello,

I've been a really long time "lurker". I'd say at least 3 or 4 years. I happened upon this site years ago when I was standing outside of my house in Volusia County, FL. It was about 9 pm, my little jack russell, Marley, was running around, and it was a lightly cloudy night. I noticed a sphere traveling quickly across the sky just above the clouds so quickly and quietly that I mistook it for a shooting star at first. Then, I realized that there was no way it could have been a shooting star. The sphere from my relative perspective was the size of the moon. Anyway, I began to research on the computer what it could possibly have been, and just like that, I stumbled inadvertently into the world of ATS.

It's been years now, but this site has provided me a wealth of knowledge and has truly opened my eyes as to how things actually function in the world. I have a family, a husband, two precious little girls, and two crazy mutts. I cringe when I think about all the years I have been completely oblivious to all the antagonistic and truly evil forces I have exposed my family to. GMO foods, fluoride, not caring about what was going on in current events, nanotech, chemtrails,... I was the quintessential American Zombie. UGH! These past few years have been truly awakening for my family and me. I am slowly making changes in our lives to ensure that my children will be awake and knowledgable as well as healthy individuals who will contribute positively to our (hopefully still present) society.

I look forward to being a part of this intellectual community that has helped me to literally change my life. I have never felt so awake but terrified in my entire life. However, the clarity of what is going on in our lives and elsewhere has lit a fire under my arse to begin making changes. Looking at me, people would never think that I would be fascinated and pretty much obsessed with these types of topics. Trying to educate people in my circle of friends is virtually impossible, but thankfully some of them are haven't been indoctrinated to the point where I can't. When we are at parties and I start talking about politics or global finance, my husband laments, "Oh by, here she goes again with her conspiracy theories!" Haha! I guess I'm that person now.

Welcome to ATS from the UK! I haven't been here long 3 years or so and still learning and gaining knowledge. Of course I make my own mind up about things.

Mainly replying as the end of your intro, my ex gf wouldn't let me talk to her political friends (she studies politics at uxbridge university in London) because I was into conspiracies. Times someone would mention a certain topic and she would say 'oh don't start him off on that subject'

Anyways now that you are here there's no going back, welcome and enjoy!

Thank you for the welcome. =) Great to be a part of your team. After a couple of drinks I find myself going off on all sorts of tangents, but I can't help it! These are things that actually matter in our lives. I find it pretty much impossible to watch mainstream television as it is maddening to know that T.V. programming is pretty much just brain rotting propaganda.

Thank you. =) Rereading my first post, I see a few type-os. I hate those. I am operating under a brain fog. I think I have laryngitis. Yesterday, it was the kind of cute rasp, but today it's completely gone. Then I think of your recommendation to breathe deep and wonder what toxic cacophony of poisons I may be inhaling today.

I want to thank everyone for their friendly welcomes. These days, I find it difficult to connect with people as they are consciously so detached from the truth. Every once in a while though, I meet intelligent people who i can relate to, and they are equally as excited as I am to find someone who understands! I'm looking forward to the ATS life.
