Questions about an idea i had

I was thinking of doing a series of topics showcasing various android apps, and was wondering a few things.
1. Is it ok to link apps from the android market?
2. Is it ok to link apps that aren't available in the market (such as Tubemate; a youtube downloading app)?

I know I can't post about pirated apps, just so that's clear...but are there any other things I should know, or advice y'all would like to offer?

Sorry about the double post. Another question is: so long as its a free nonpirated app, am I allowed to send it to other users?

You aren't allowed to advertise on ATS, or solict people to a product.
