If you want a ton of interesting free ebooks or videos and movies ...check this out.

If you're like me, I am always on the lookout for cool, free (!!) books for my kindle.

The usual sources on the net often have the disadvantage that they only have books in one format, say PDF...which needs to be converted first. (I usually want all my books on my kindle and PDF is a bad to read).

I was surprised to find a ton of really good gems of interesting books, including UFO, spiritual etc...(if you want books you can search for only "text"...but it also has full movies or MP3s etc..if you look for "all media types")

The best thing is that unlike other sites, on archive.org the books are often in ALL kinds of formats, Kindle, Text Online, HTML, PDF etc.

You can also find really rare to find documents, like UFO sightings from project bluebook, or MP3 audio books etc....

The old childrens books look like a great way to pass some time, lots of old Dickens and Lewis.

Incidentally I shared your PDF frustration wiht my old Samsung ebook reader, and yes I hear the Kindle is pretty awful with th em too. But I recently got a Nook Simple Touch when they were on clearance for cheap, and it displays pdf files almost perfectly. Wholeheartedly recommend. It can even resize the font.
