What is C2C?

Just in case you are not joking, C2C is Coast to Coast AM.

...and if you are joking then disregard.

-SAP-

I'm not joking at all, thank you kindly.

I love the comment above...'broadcast across the country'. Not my country it isn't.

See posts above...but hell, what does Standard and Poors Know???..Best to check Briebart News for your financial guidance.

Again, if a 20% shutdown of government cost that much, then they are TAKING TOO MUCH!

Can't help the kind of ideological commitment that demands you strangle facts in the bathtub.

CEO's across the country all explained that they decreased and ceased hiring during the Debt Ceiling debate, Every economist says this hammered growth/recovery/GDP and it raised interest rates for average Americans.

This is not NEW it is basic economics that have held true since our government was founded.

We have shrinking deficits, shrinking debt to gdp...and sequester in place.

How about you folks start to care about the American People...Jobs and economic growth...rather than stomp on both? This is not partisan it is fundamental facts...the TP has hurt jobs, growth, the economy and the American people...all because they don't like the President.

Fail.

You need to post some proof.

Not slanted opinions.

Standard and Poors et al are not slanted opinions...you have to be off the deep end to dismiss Financial Analysts and actual numbers as liberal media bias.

No matter...the loons have earned their current state.

I think it is the Presidents decisions/policies that are disliked. At least by me.

Although i would rather lie in dogsh# than align with the TP.

And for me the choice is not ideological. I am luke-warm on the President's best policies and whole-heartedly disagree with other policies. But the ugliest woman in the room looks like a super-model when they stand beside Jabba-the-hut.

In that context my frustration with the GOP is two-fold. One...being their rapid slide toward a vitriolic/emotionally driven platform vs. the Fiscal responsibility they used to demonstrate and Two...Their failure brings unwarranted, over-sized praise to Democrats, who while sane, still need honest and rational critique and competition/push back in our national discourse.

Otherwise...The Dems say we need to spend more on education, infra-structure, new-tech investment etc. and the GOP of old would retort...how much money do we have and what will the return on investment be? Will this actually work and if so, how can we do it at the least cost and in the most effective manner etc. How to boost jobs and economic growth with the least expense and the least involvement of government. Between the two, practical solutions are agreed upon. BUT the current GOP's retort...eff you, you socialist, communist pigs..we will shut down government!!

Put another way...thanks to the current sad state of the GOP ...The bar for political success has been set at the lowly "Sane" standard...and Americans deserve much better than that.

Why should I care about other people? People do not know or care how to think about their future so why should I worry besides my taxes pay for their wants.

I have secured the future for my family that is all I will worry about.

This is very, very interesting.

My position in my business is the guy who reviews a PO request and begins to ask those questions like, "What is the return?", "Will the vendors carry their own insurance?", etc. Your assessment of that role being vacant in government is dead accurate.

Although your assessment of the sanity of the DNC is, to me, inaccurate. They both have devolved into meaningless vitriol and obstinance for the sake of obstinance.

I view the DNC as a different outfit than the actual Pols. Ditto RNC...they are both responsible for campaigning and thus pander to respective bases. Yes the Pols in DC need to tow the party line in day to day rhetoric if they are to get funds from RNC and DNC...but the GOP Reps and Dem Reps in the House and Senate are meant to step beyond the salesmanship and actually execute and legislate...and the Dems in that regard are performing in drastically more sane manner than the GOP.

We have to remember, Pelosi was only the worst of the bunch on that side of the aisle. And that under Pelosi while Bush was on Pennsylvania Ave their behavior was not much better.

However, I will easily concede that when you couple todays environment with the "Cigar-gate" impeachment, the worst DNC official during he Bush years would pale by comparison. I am still ashamed of what we did to Slick Willie Clinton, which pisses me off even more (because he really isn't worthy of my sympathy).

Hasn't the demand for t-bills been negatively effected by the comical way our 'leaders' have been behaving? If they weren't contiually shooting us in the foot, wouldn't t-bills be just as strong/sure as they have been in the past? Most people around the world believe the USA's biggest threat to its economy is its leaders regularly putting on their breath-holding, foot-stomping show needlessly inflicting damage to the world's economy. Just an opinion.

I see they simply kicked the can down the road. Now they both get to try to play hero. Not that it matters their poll numbers are at the bottom of the sea.Gonna be fun to see how they play the blame game for the low approval numbers.

3 choices they can make:

-- continue on as they were before (which is looks like they are doing based on the spending in the bill) and then not vote to increase the debt ceiling

-- continue on as they were before, but then default in the next go round of fighting and screaming

-- not take on any more debt, realign their cash obligations to achieve financial independance, and short circuit this entire fiasco.

Ill let you guess which one they will choose.

I think the debt is completly UNrecoverable so might as well keep increasing the debt limit until they no longer can for whatever reason. I am no bloody economist but I am smart enough to know if you are importing THREE TIMES MORE than what you export, you got a real #ing problem on your hands, and you should have raised tariffs a long #ing time ago. Too bloody late now.

Just keep raising the debt limit and put more people on welfare. Also ACA will kill what LITTLE CHANCE at recovery america had with such outrageously high premiums and small business needing to hire mariachi listening mexicans. We also get more ms-13 gangbangers for the same price in cities like LA and San Diego.

Sorry for being pessimistic, BUT I am still happy the debt limit is raised and the old timers will get their social insecurity checks rather than have to ask their part time working children to help them out.

www.census.gov...

Its all right there in plain english. I have provided this link so many times over the years its not funny. A 30 YEAR TRADE DISASTER WITH CHINA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
