Stuff I wrote when I should have been paying attention in class instead

I'm in a mood of sharing so...
I was going through a notebook that I kept from high school, and found a few things which made me shed a tear of nostalgia, one is the following little poem(s) not sure if it all fits together
Not saying it's any good, but the other ones I found are just plain terrible



Sometimes we wish
we had more time
more time to fish
more time to wish

Sometimes I feel
that I'm losing time
when I sit very still
all this doesn't seem real

Sometimes you think
you won't be late
and then in just a blink
you made me wait
for so long
meanwhile I was just singing a song
singing a song

Everytime you make me miss the train
'cause you've been crying
I know it wasn't in vain
I guess I'll just keep trying



When I remember the times
We just played in the streets
It was all so fine
Everything seemed to taste so sweet
We had everything we strive to find



Today I've learned my lessons
you've shown me the essence
you've shown me the truth
you've shown me that
there's a gap in the fence

Tonight I will be fine
you came just in time
we won't waste not more a dime
not more a thought
not more a dot
of this endless line

Love it. If you play guitar and sing, and have someone to sing harmony with you, get busy. I can hear it and it is a beautiful number!
