The U.S. forces claim that now they have full control over Fallujah

U.S. and Iraqi resistance fighters engaged in new battles early Monday in the Iraqi city of Fallujah, after U.S. forces struck the city with a series of air raids, firing artillery and mortar rounds, a correspondent said.

U.S warplanes fired about five artillery rounds at different locations in Fallujah, which U.S. officers claim has come under the full control of Marines after 7 days of deadly offensive that was launched last Monday.

Also overnight, U.S. forces launched sporadic mortar rounds against targets.

How come Al Jazeera is the only ones reporting this? No one else is reporting any majior eruptions of violence in Falluja now. Sounds a little fishy.

We have control I guess, but there was a bunker found and we are bombing it.

Seems to be more like mopping up. Seems a few of the militants are eager to meet thier maker and the USMC is indulging them
