If you (and/or your loved ones) are under the payroll of the big GMO giants or have stakes in the GMO industries, the video below is probably not for
you. This thread, is not intended to provoke verbal abuses, condescending remarks and name-callings either. We have had enough of those in other
threads. And yes, I have read the criticism of the video and the opposing comments of it too.
If anyone has issues with any part of the video presentation (eg. silly movie title, lack of "questionable" scientific data, fear mongering, use of
kids, etc), feel free to invite Jeremy Seifert to ATS's "Ask Me Anything" (although some may prefer having Jeffrey M Smith instead). The only
intention for this thread: to encourage people to share and discuss the subject matter outside ATS especially with those who have no idea about GMO's
(there are still plenty to be found). I find the interview is easily digestible. No puns. And let's hope it will generate interests and encourage
more independent films like it in the future.
As for my stance on GMO's, it is pretty clear...if I have doubts it's safe, I won't eat it or risk my [family's] health over it. I am open to the
notion that not all GMO's pose equal risks or even harmful. But I prefer to stick to my proven traditional, non-GMO food (sorry, I am not
adventurously, truly, madly, deeply pro-science when it comes to what I eat). More importantly, I will never support any entity that, given time
and opportunity, could potentially control food productions (ie. its quality, quantity hence eventually price) and essentially what the general
population consume. Smaller farmers need our support more than the few big corporations do.
By the way, March Against Monsanto will be held on 12 October. Again, I'm only a messenger.
