Idea: Thread Page Bookmarks & highlight pages users have posted on in a thread

Saving bookmark:
A button on the anyones post you stopped reading at to save your position in that thread.
Like the direct link button. but it will lock it in and save it so you can access it as the bookmark feature.

Now to access the bookmark feature:
The thread title should have a bookmark icon next to it, that will take you to the direct link you saved.
This should be coded on today.php and srtpages

A simple process to follow on from where you left off, with out having to go into members profile area.

Now for the other idea.
Highlight the pages your username has posted on in a thread.

So page numbers 1 2 3 4 5

But only background highlight the number 3. this was just a example.

So it tells you that you posted on page 3, so you never have to struggle to remember what page it was you posted on.

another example:
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12

Hope you take on board my idea, I am sure many would use this feature.
You sometimes need to pick off where you left off easy quicker.

Maybe I posted at the wrong time.

What is wrong with ATS I thought people would be discussing this idea.

I do not think enough people are seeing this Idea its weird ATS has been pretty slow the last few days.

I give your motion a second! Also...a search function in a specific thread (filter) would be great!

Thanks for seconding my motion, I see this feature, getting used by allot of users...

I would use this all the time. It's tough to pick up a thread where I left off, especially when jumping between devices. Personal bookmarks would make lurking much more enjoyable, and give me a chance to get into discussions more often.

Big props to the mods for the great changes recently, but I agree; this would be an excellent feature to add.

Yes it would make it easier for device jumping just log in and you have had you position saved.

Anyone got anymore idea's to add to my idea. I hope ATS take notice.

I third the idea, I proposed something very similar a month or so back in another thread on a related topic, That thread however deteriorated into a blood bath between the admins and a member who had a spoiled bowl of cheerios that morning on an unrelated topic altogether

Anyone want this feature I am trying to get more people interested.

It's a great idea. Trying to remember relevant page numbers for postings and last read is frustrating. Especially on multiple threads
