Oh, I'll be staying one way or another. Like I said you have to decide where your line is, mine is nobody hurts my family or ramsacks my home. Period.
If you haven't prepped that's your own fault - it's not like people here haven't had plenty of warning. I've been through enough storms (3 actually) where the power was off for over a week. Pretty miserable if you're not ready to deal with nor was it possible to just leave and go get a motel room.
If people get crazy and start looting well they would be wise to avoid my place.

I think you hit the nail on the head. People misinterpret the government "activity" which really happens around the budget cycle on October 1st.

It's frustrating and beyond annoying to see people running around like chicken little. I have nothing against apocalyptic preparation (especially due to something like a massive CME) but the constant scaring of people that you are going to be herded into a FEMA camp and enslaved is beyond ridiculous.

Yes, I am concerned about the erosion of the Constitution and our civil liberties but we are FAR from the government treating you like livestock all over the country.

I also watched a video today concerning all this and found that this video is really creditable where backing up their facts are concerned.

There is also a guy in the first part of the vid X-Military speaking at his city council I think. Pay special close attention to what he says. Which many of us already know... It's just the way he say's it thats scary.
