Reading Between the lines. (Doom Porn ?)

OK So first off let me apologise for contributing to the ongoing doomporn. I'm not for one moment claiming that this post relates to a real and tangible threat to our safety...

So its late night here, and Obama is making his speech regarding the impending government shutdown. SKY News are showing a ticker tape which reads "President Obama says Government shutdown would have a "Real Economic Impact".

Could it be that Obama is speaking in code during his speech?

If you are inclined to you can pick out a couple of choice phrases from his speech today...
Much of the US Gov will be forced to shut down completely...
Our troops will continue to serve...
Air traffic controllers, Prison workers etc will remain at their posts...
NASA will shutdown almost entirely...
All of us will be hurt gravely...
Our Deficits are falling fast...

Additionally, suppose the name of the Affordable Care Act is in fact a code itself?

The man has a real thing for NASA, doesn't he? I mean, really... He's damn near red lined them as it is and their mission has as much now to do with official outreach to other nations as what they used to exist for. Running development and operations in Space/related areas.

I missed his speech, but he actually named them specifically huh? They have a budget under 20 billion...total. The whole thing. All locations, probes, satellites and current programs combined. They get chopped ...but the couple billion PER DAY going to defense? Oh.. Heck.. Now that can't slow. Nope. (700+ billion with Intelligence and DHS costs included overall. I'm sure they aren't shut down for an hour, either).

He needs counseling and a vacation.

As i do not live in the good old US of A this does not affect me personally. However.

I do not fully understand how a government can just be "shut down", even with essenstial services remaining intact?

Its a fear tactic employed to prepare people for whats coming. CUTS. Cuts to your pothole and snowblower crews. Cuts to your kids school supplies. Cuts to the number of fire departments.

They can't "shut down" now anymore than they could when the big bailout happened, remember? The banks said if you don't pay us we will "crash the economy" and everything will be destroyed.

That is the threat now too, isn't it?

After they raise the "money they can borrow" limit, they will say (with heavy brow and sad voice) we are so sorry we had to raise your rates and take a little more from your check. We had to (open palms, pleading) otherwise we would have had to dun, dun, dun, dunnn... shut down.

Tomorrow when you wake up you will notice little different as they move on to their next scripted dog and pony show in the halls of Government, Business and Media.

Oh, that pothole you run over on the way to work will still be there.

It sucks not knowing what they're preparing for... And it's scary. You try to tell yourself it's nothing and just another 2012 hype ... But w/ everything going on it doesn't take much common sense to realize something's happening.

Is the Government over reacting to how the public will respond to a shut-down and the huge ObamaCare law that goes somewhat into effect, ( what time is it?)

I heard threw the AP that some Government jobs are furloughed and many many people will be let go " Indefinetly ".
A lot of these folks are living the American Dream and w/ out that pay-check they're a couple checks away from living home-less or in shelters. Most people can't rely on family to help if they're in the same position.

Is a huge secret coming out where we finally flip out and can't take it anymore?

Is whats going on Weather or Space related?
